D express lady is nice. and found that the standard room you showed had a open feeling and a good view to stretch your eyeballs for a distance.. The upper deck pool looked refreshing and chill... very suitable and seemed nice for a stay..
Stayed at Nalanta and it’s the best choice in the area for under 1000 baht. The attached restaurant, copper spoon serves good food and the facility is remarkably clean.
By far, the most informative channel with all details, info and extras about Pattaya! Keep up the excellent work! Little detail, that room she showed you in Nalanta was the same room i had last holiday. My experience in the Nalanta hotel was too noisy (neighbours, cleaning, shouting,..., locationwise it was top!
This type of video is my favorite. I think you have found your niche. I look forward to all your videos of the apartments and condos around Pattaya and Jomtien. Your videos give me a good idea of where are the good places to stay and about how much to spend. I liked the second apartment the best, mainly because it had a pool. I liked the 3rd apartments room the best, but no pool.
I can recommend Nalanta, stayed there in March 2020 just before the first lockdown. Also stayed there a couple of months ago, great rooms and the staff are very friendly. Plus a great location just a few hundred yards from Treetown as well. I stayed in a Standard room both times, absolutely spotless as well.
@UA Slept great, far enough away from any noise. Set back from the road as well and it’s a fairly quiet Soi. There’s a few small beer bars but no real noise issues.
Great choice of hotels for people like me who can mainly only manage a fortnight holiday at a time.good rooms and prices .thanks for the very good videos matey .
Thanks mate I think you do a fantastic job. Whilst the prices are going up post Covid I can see that by changing destinations (eg Soi 6 and not Walking Street etc) you can still have a great time with at a reasonable price
D apartment getting aged but very easy and friendly good rooms. staff when u make the effort they take great care of u stayed there for years not had any problems always my 1st choice..very guest friendly.have taken liberties ha. ha booked next visit already..
Yes agree with the majority DExpress every time. All the ladies who work there are really nice and über friendly. Almost on 3rd road but the steak restaurant on the other side of the road is absolutely great.New Excite square a short walk and also Max club close by.
I've stayed at both D Apartments and D Express and would recommend the latter. It might be a bit up the road but it's worth it. The Nalanta looks good but haven't had the opportunity to stay there. As an aside, do you have any plans to checkout hotels in the Soi 3 to Soi 5 area? Some nice rooms and deals there, close to Terminal 21, some nice restaurants too. Just a short baht bus and your in the action. Cheers!
I love all 3 of those apartments very nice indeed daz you really do a great job on your videos I can't wait until I return to pattaya I really love it there simply beautiful daz
I am reviewing your budget to mid priced condos you reviewed a year ago in Pattaya and Jomtien... Maybe able to visit early to mid 2023 by then and find a suitable place to vacation for 6 months to a year... I really appreciate the videos you have produced over the past year or so on Thailand living practical information on the culture and retirement possibilities... Great Job!

Hey Daz, There is another one on the Soi just next to Nalanta if you are coming from Soi Lengkee towards Treeetown. The name of the hotel is Sleep with me & cost is around $ 20-25 with pool. Cheers !!
Stayed at both D Apartment and D Xpress many times. Xpress is my favoured one as its slightly newer. Staff are more friendly, and it's a tad cheaper. I personally don't mind the walk either as there's always something to see on the way!!! Never tried Natalanta.
Hi Daz, another informative video mate thanks for sharing there are/were some more rooms nearly opposite d express that were if I remember rightly only about 550 baht or so a night just down from Smile bar? Don't know if they are still there. But they were very good if you are on a limited budget. You could also use the pool at D express if you stayed there,
stayed at D Apartments 12 times plus and D xpress 4 times , of late i stayed at D xpress . If you correspond with either place ask for Noon at D Apartments ( black shirt ) or Por at D xpress 9 ( Pink shirt ) ........... pretty sure they are sisters , Both can hold communication with you and are decent girls .... i prefer D xpress these days , its newer and DApartments is looking a bit tired on the decking around the pool , always busy and as a really solid reputation , i have been unable to book in at D Hotel at the back of D Apartments as its always busy .......... by the way they have another apartment complex down near D xpress , its called PS Apartment i believe , its even cheaper , no pool , but you can use D xpress swimming pool .
great video's allways, very nice rooms, the prices really not expensive if i compare these prices and the look of the rooms compared to angeles(phillipines) it is simply much much better pattaya, Dexpress superior looks great..anyway i will check out all your video's before arriving even tho i lived many years pattaya it "s been more than 5 years already and allways stayed in condo or near walking street. hi Mr EP, Would be greatful if you could look into whats happening with the Canterbury tales in Soi Chayiapoon, place has closed as the owner has moved to a new bookshop somewhere past 3rd road, is it still going to be a guesthouse, new bar etc, CT's was a well known landmark for many expats and i loved staying at the place, cheers
Really, Really like your videos. If possible, could you show some budget hotels that have most all amenities nearby, centrally located within walking distance, such as Laundry, food & dry goods stores, places to eat, etc.
I stayed at the d apartment this year for 5 weeks ,got a good price ,I think I got it at 400 a nite ,looks like alot of places going up, good location etc as well, small room but all good ,safe was big as most of the hotels thye are super small
