All the condo's very nice for the price. You always do a great job in all your video's and also explaining Apartments, condos and things to do in Thailand. Thanks again
Yes, but in all honesty, if you were to actually go for one of the beachfront, small, modern units, that are $2K/month (plus, water, electric, wifi) they aren't far off from US beach city pricing if you look at the price per square meter because they are small and don't have the living space or the same closet/storage space. They do have similar amenities w/pool, gym. The difference being they are furnished, since they're more like hotel suites than actual homes you live in full-time. For reference, I live in San Francisco, California, and prior to this I lived in Los Angeles, and Manhattan/NYC. The real value is once you step off the beach and get a couple of miles/km away from the beach, and especially so once you get out of the expat area and over to local Thai areas which are simple, no frills places, but an insane value. I'm not complaining, I'm simply pointing out that those on the beach are very expensive by Thai standards, but it's a lot more affordable than the insane pricing over in Phuket.
Thank you for all the info, I just came back from Hua Hin and I didn't know there were all these affordable condos in the area you just show What you're doing is super helpful CHEERS !!!!!!
Great video as always. I think you can get cheaper rooms at The room if you pick a lower floor. 500 bahts less for each floor you climb down. Last year, it started at 5500 bahts. Also, you could try the hotels that do monthly rates, Seamira (around 11000 bahts) and La Or Resort (15000 but you get a bungalow) come to mind and they're close to Baan Khun Por.
Thanks, also for good tips. Seamira and La Or great choices, also Initial, Goodview and so many others. Good option to just ask any hotel if they have monthly rates.
@@SideTripLife why dont you cover the Thai local houses as well. they have a nice Thai feel to them and also stay within the Thai community who are so warm and welcoming.
Great videos, I visited Thailand in November last year, after travelling around a bit I impulse decided to move to Hua Hin, popped back to the UK, gave everything I had away and after looking at several of the Condos that you visited in this video I found a fantastic new build 3 bed, fully furnished pool villa 2 mins from 88 Condo for 35,000 THB per month on a 12 month contract. I love the area, very peaceful and only a short scoot to shops, Soi 94 bars, restaurants and everything else Hua Hin has to offer.
So no point in buying with such low rents? Because you've god decent stuff for 20-30 grand, but might be worth the investment with the 30 year leases for foreigners?
Hua Hin is just amazing. Stayed there in March I loved it. Was exactly where you were in this video a couple of times. I decided a couple of months ago to go ahead and just move there. See you in August😊
Fun and informative video STL! We're likely going to consider 88 Condos next trip. That pony at Hin Lek Fai was chasing a visitor around when we last visited. The horse saw the guy had a candy bar and the guy finally had to give it up. 😊
Honestly, it looked like the horse at the end was coming to you for help because it was hungry, and it thought you would feed it. I'm glad they gave it food. Appreciate your sense of humor, but most especially how thorough your videos are. Well done.
I stayed in Hua Hin Terminal in JAN 2022. A bit far from the coast, but totally enjoyable pool and quiet area with wide range of bars & restaurants. 15-20 minutes walk to the coast. Amazing pool. Gym , not too outstanding . Good option

Wonderful video. We are moving to thailand in 3 months. We visited in March and April. Hua Hin was amazing. We will rent for 6 to 12 months and then consider buying a condo. Preferably Oceanview.
Thanks - this is great. question: did any of the places have elevators? I only remember seeing you going up stairs. I have a massively heavy suitcase right now that I can hardly lift, so that's my one concern. Also, I didn't see contact info for Terminal A - do you have any? Can't even find Terminal A on google maps - is it brand new? I liked the first place at the Room because it actually had a normal size writing desk which seems almost impossible to find in Thailand. I also liked the 2 bedroom at terminal A, because it seemed to have a pretty good desk area as well. For me a work desk is essential, but seems very rare they include them unfortunately.
