Gin was trying to get away quick from the guy that they saved from the car since he's a yakuza member (you can infer from his missing pinky, since cutting off your pinky is a common method of punishment for a screwup).
It has everything a good Christmas movie should have. Humor, great characters, family values and a Christmas miracle. Unless you've seen it before, it's imposible to predict and keeps you on your toes, without becoming too complicated. It's beautifully animated and it has the first trans representation that actually works because Hana is such a perfect character, she could be anything and you would still love her, because they didn't just stop the story to explain who she is and what it means to be trans, the story just sorta rolls with it just as it should. Needless to say. I LOVE THIS MOVIE.

I think they wanted you to envision the ending for yourself I really like kinda open ended leave it up to individual interpretations.
Yeah I guess I just like to have some answers to go off of. But that's just me everyone's taste is different. 🙂
