Adar was inserted But makes logic sense that others would challenge sauron for control of melkors army. That said, numuninor has been pretty lackluster.

As a reminder, amazon spent around 700 million dollars on season 1 and even more on season 2 on rings of power. Fallout's budget was 153 million and still has higher viewership and ratings. Goes to show that dumping money on a project doesn't mean much for its success
Fun fact: Gandalf's name actually means "staff elf". As in, that's what hobbits would call him, that's not his actual name, nor is he known by it all over the Middle Earth. But it is still surprisingly accurate for the not-hobbits to be like "thanks, Weird Big Elf With a Magic Stick!" and him being ok with it. One could even argue the way they did it is a decent translation in a show where they're all speaking English. (What makes it stupid is the immediate mispronunciation - would make more sense if it evolved overtime, but then it wouldn't be a Dramatic Twist Moment - the fact that he doesn't know his actual name or mission, and like, everything else about how that plotline happens.)
Being serious for a moment, this trend every damn prequel has of "revealing" how a character got their name is so irritating. Why can't people just get their name at birth like a normal person anymore? Not everything needs an origin story.

That "We're in this now." at the end felt like something that was actually said amongst the people making the show. This was a really good episode and I haven't even seen the show, for some reason it felt like I still got the jokes and references due to how much Everything else seems to be talking about the show while it's on. 😄👍
Its weird to be somewhat disappointed by this pitch meeting purely because there were so many horrendous parts of the show that were not referenced in it. But I do realize that if every ridiculous, idiotic, contrived, and nonsensical thing were put into the pitch meeting then it would have to be like 2 hours long...which would be tight.
For that we have cinemasins... or tvsins? Streamsins? One of them - stopped following them a while ago because after getting disappointed with modern cinema, it felt weird watching hours of mockvideos instead of other stuff that is just good on it's own. Being serious for a moment, this trend every damn prequel has of "revealing" how a character got their name is so irritating. Why can't people just get their name at birth like a normal person anymore? Not everything needs an origin story.

That "We're in this now." at the end felt like something that was actually said amongst the people making the show.
This was a really good episode and I haven't even seen the show, for some reason it felt like I still got the jokes and references due to how much Everything else seems to be talking about the show while it's on.

I'm convinced that more thought is put into the structure of this story by Ryan than all of the writers of Rings of Power combined.
Its weird to be somewhat disappointed by this pitch meeting purely because there were so many horrendous parts of the show that were not referenced in it. But I do realize that if every ridiculous, idiotic, contrived, and nonsensical thing were put into the pitch meeting then it would have to be like 2 hours long...which would be tight.

One of them - stopped following them a while ago because after getting disappointed with modern cinema, it felt weird watching hours of mockvideos instead of other stuff that is just good on it's own. But if they are still around, the eventually will make that 2h video.
