Thank you for your reply, much appreciated. Understand if it can’t all be included but there are so few fossil preparations on RUclips that actually do the prepping, mostly, in real time. The only posting I’ve found for ammonites (mostly) is Fossilien. Think it’s a German site. But thank you for considering it. The viewer can always fast forward if they choose but obviously not possible to continue watching if the images aren’t actually recorded

Really appreciate the trouble you’ve already gone through on my comment, which was just a thought really! If the video is made in real time then it could be posted in time lapse and full video (I’ve no idea if this would be a disadvantage financially). Or with much longer preparations posted in a series of episodes. But it’s of a bit surprise how few people post the full video of fossil preparations, especially ammonites.
@katleenallen8153 now that's a good idea doing 2 versions time-lapse and full 👍will definitely do that in future preps and I'm more than happy I always enjoy discussing things with viewers
When you do the prep video please not too much time lapse. I love see the fossil emerge even if it does take a long time
I will see what I can do but its going to be 8 or 10 hours of work. I'm not quite sure how else I can do it ??
