We just took delivery of our 21 Palisade Calligraphy. Moonlight Cloud / Cream interior, yesterday. Purchased it for my wife. After a 200 mile drive home, I can say we absolutely love it.
@@chunutube We just took it on a 1100 mile round trip from NY to NC and back. Over bumps, it is a bit on the louder side, (not NEARLY as bad as the 2020 CR-V Touring, we traded in, which sounded abysmal over anything but smooth pavement. Even then, the road noise was intrusive) but the wind noise isn't at all bad and there is absolutely no whistling.. I would say it is on par with my '17 Yukon Denali, but not as quiet as my F-150 Platinum...which is by far, the quietest vehicle we own.
Just bought a 2021 CX-9. So far we really love it. It’s fun to drive the build and paint quality are really good. My wife loves how the headlights turn with the steering wheel and are amazingly bright. She gets home from work late every night and loves being able to see the deer on the sides of the roads. We got ours in beautiful soul red.
Of all the 3.... both atlas and palisade are new generation SUVs , going against cx 9 that was last redesigned 5 years ago...lol mazda is still a king for me.
I have a 2020 CX-9 GT with pearl white and I have loved it from day one. It has loads of features that were not covered here you have to dig in to find. I am 6"2 and honestly had no issue getting comfortable in the third row which is why I was not sure why they always make it seem so tiny. Fun to drive and while there are some good looking SUV's out there I personally feel as though nothing can touch Mazda's styling it's just so damn sleek looking.
@@pedrot1152 I have had this thing fully loaded with 5 adults (including myself), 2 young kids and luggage and I didn't notice nearly any difference in the power. It probably effected mileage but nothing to write home about. I took 3 adults and 2 kids and loaded the car up for a trip to the NH White Mountains and it handled beautifully. Like I said I love this thing. Only wish it had a panoramic sunroof.
That’s interesting… I test drove the Palisade and found it incredibly roomy and comfortable in the front two seats (didn’t try 2nd row). And I’m 6’6” and 320lbs.
I bought a 2018 Atlas and 50,000 problem free miles later I can attest to the fact I have not had as many compliments in any SUV I have owned. All three are nice but I like my Atlas.
Here’s my car story. I’ve had a growing family for the last 8 years being now a family of 7. I started with a Ford Flex, wasn’t completely happy with it. Moved to a Ford Expedition Max (went big!) had a lot of problems with it but gave me that big power experience. I traded that in 3 weeks ago now for a MAZDA CX-9! Absolutely love it! I have 5 kids in boosters and car seats works for us. I like an EXPERIENCE when I drive and I get that from my CX-9
Love my CX9. None of my kids are 6’2 so the third row is perfect lol. I appreciate the down to earth reviews but I feel if folks need to put adults in the 3rd row, then a mid size SUV crossover isn’t for you. Go with a suburban, expedition, Yukon, Tahoe, etc. Mazda’s are so fun to drive and dang they look good hauling my kids around.
I love this comment!! We really love the cx-9 and thinking to buy one this summer. People complain about the third row but we are not planning to sit adults there, just kids!!! I think it’s tremendously safe, and it can even safely fit five car seats. If we need more truck space for an occasional long trip we’d get an extra compartment above. I’m a bit bothered that people overemphasize so much little differences in space. How is your experience being??!
Yeah I find people usually use the edge cases to define "cons." I mean I genuinely never see full sized adults in the back seats of an SUV. But eh that's just what I notice. The CX-9 is still a much more beautiful vehicle inside and out compared to the competition.
Same here. Love my CX-9 Carbon Edition. It’s very stylish, I feel like I’m driving a luxury vehicle, and it drives like a sedan. Best car I have ever owned hands down. Have never had any issues with the third row and I put adults back there.
Crazy how Mazda's 2.5 liter 4 cylinder turbo puts out more torque than both V6 engines in the Atlas and Palisade! I'd pick the Mazda over the other 2 anyway. Has the best reliability and looks too!
The 3rd row and overall interior and trunk space is way smaller than the others and the palisade isn’t bad on reliability and only now Mazda is getting there for their tech
@@johnhunt9674 I'd take a Mazda car with with turbo over a VW with one. My mom's 2012 VW Tiguan needed a new turbo at 80K miles. The wastegate has a design flaw from the factory and is a known problem. I don't see Mazda having the same problem down the road with there turbo engines. We will see tho. Any naturally aspirated engine is gonna be more reliable than one with a turbo. That's common sense...
I bought a 2021 Hyundai Palisade Limited a few months ago and I am in LOVE. I don't haul kids, but I do haul my adult friends on nearly a weekly basis and all of my friends fit comfortably in all three rows. My friends love the heated and cooled second row captains chairs and the reclining third row that not only has vents, but USB ports, too. Only thing missing from the third row is lighting. The Mazda may be the sportiest driver, but falls shorts in every other respect and that's why I couldn't even consider it when I was looking for my next three row crossover. I looked at the Atlas when it was new, and I've not heard anything good from anyone I know who owns or has owned one. I can't say anything good enough about the Palisade. It's definitely the most versatile in the midsize three-row crossover segment.
The CX9 is out of its element here. It competes with the Explorer, Durango, Sorento, Pilot and Highlander. Really the only other crossover to compete with the Atlas and Palisade (excluding the telluride twin) is the Traverse. These three are a full tier up in size and capability in comparison to every other three row crossover and are basically minivans with normal doors and a lift. The CX9 has a long hood and a cabin of a smaller 3 row.
@@tag1pumpkin until 2021 the traverse and atlas had more cargo space than the tahoe and the palisade wasn't too far behind. The CX9 is a whole tier down
I’d love to see you guys do 2 or 3 more of these three way three row crossover comparisons and bring the winner from each in for a championship. Or try to set up a huge comparison with them all at once over a weekend with other channels.
Great video, thanks for the recommendation! Went with the 2021 Mazda CX-9 Carbon Edition (US). We’re a family of three, and love this car. Third row stays mostly down, plenty of room for the baby stuff and the fuel efficiency is ridiculously awesome. It definitely turns heads so it’s great for the dads that identify as teenagers, ha. Highly recommend, great vid gents!
How do you feel about the power when fully loaded with the kids and all the stuff? I am in the same position (with 2 little babies) but wondering if the power is enough on this car...
@@pedrot1152 it’s definitely a 4 CYC, but it’s also definitely a Turbo. AWD has us between 18 - 20 mpg, but the sacrifice of mpg is going in the quality of ride. If there are no trailers in your future, I think you’ll be as happy as I am friend.
I traded in the Buick Enclave for the Calligraphy trim. You also have a mic to talk to passengers in the third row as well as tilting 3rd row seats. Napa leather is phenomenal!
Great review Steve, Howard, Matt. the Atlas really surprised me. But the Atlas is probably the most costly after warranty. I like the Kia Telluride over the Palisade, both with a 100k/10yr warranty.
@@JulezWinnfield well I understood the first time I read it, and didn’t feel the need to be a pompous jerk by commenting on his grammar. It’s a fucking RUclips comment, not a research paper.
It’s all about the drive. That MAzda g vector control is crazy good! I’ve driven all 3 too and they don’t compare to that mazda drive control. You really feel it when u step on that pedal after cornering! MAzda best.
@@noodosoop u seemed to have missed my point. Meaning the drive for this category suv! Of course if I wanted a sportier drive I’d buy a sports car but that’s not this topic. There’s a reason they designed this vehicle to be smaller and handle better than your typical boxy suvs.
Bought our 2018 CX 9 GT from new a few years back. Good drive for sure, feels faster than the Atlas I also test drove back then with the additional torque. Getting 6.6-7.1 L/100km on my highway drives as well!
I am a Chevy guy but when I went to purchase a Traverse (prior to that we had an awesome Equinox), we looked at a Palisade and were hooked when we drove it. We have had it for 1 year. As a result my youngest daughter bought one (and loves it), and my middle daughter bought a 3 row Kia Sorrento (and loves it). Bang for the buck!!!!!! Can't top em. Telluride also is a beautiful option, mechanically identical to the Palisade, pick which one you like the interior best on. The Telluride is made in America, another plus; the Palisade is made in S. Korea. Smooth, quiet, powerful, air assisted leveling on the rear suspension, and traction galore, very quiet 6 cylinder engine. What a great machine for the money!!!
Dont care about anyones third row, just want the extra size for carring stuff, took the Pallisade out for a test drive and have to say it was incredible. I’m amazed ar how far they have come and the build quality is great. I like the Mazda as well, just wonder if theyhave gotten past their rust issues.
After recently shopping for a 3 row crossover, the right way to do it would have been to show how you fit behind yourself in all 3 rows. In my case, I am the tallest person in my family at 5'9". So, I had to check if I fit behind myself in all 3 rows with seat adjusted for me before finalizing a vehicle. Maybe, this is something that you guys can do next time...
We really did our homework and test drive a few options. Atlas and the CX-9 were one of our options as well as the Kia Telluride but finally went with and purchased the Palisade two days ago and we love it the best choice we ever made. Thanks guys.
I love my Hyundai Palisade. I want to second everything they have said about the Palisade. I have the SEL model and every day I found something new on the vehicle as i still do as of today. I've had my Palisade since 11/2019 and I LOVE IT even from the very first day I've saw it online 3/2019. They did not hit the market until 8/2019 as they were to drop 6/2019. This vehicle is worth every penny you spend on it. I must say the interior takes you by surprise and I have not found and other 2020 models of any other vehicle like this one. NOT EVEN THE 2020 CADILLAC, but the 2021 Cadillac Sport is killing it and will kill you with the MSRP price. Just get the Palisade and it will change your life. From the base SE model to the Calligraphy. They also hold there value as well.
This is the best review i have seen in recent times. You guys covered everything from the buyer's POV. There's lots of reviewers who just test 0 to 60🤷🏽♂️. Great review Shout out from🇮🇳
Really appreciate this comprehensive video. As a mom with a 2 month old and a 2.5 year old I don’t have the time to go to all the car lots and figure out what mom car to upgrade to. We’ve had our eyes on the atlas
We purchased the '21 Atlas Sel Premium R-line and it's perfect. My husband is 6'2" and I'm 5'6"... We did add running boards for me and I honestly thinks it makes the car sportier..It has many comparable luxuries to our previous car; X5 with out the high sticker price..
I have an atlas 2.l turbo and well it’s the best and by far the best fuel economy suv that I drove. Granted I can’t tow much but let’s be serious if you are going to tow you usually get a pick-up, SUV are made to transport passengers so the more space and leg room they have the better, the palissade is nice but I think the atlas just looks better and you can customize it to look even more amazing ! The blackout edition are really nice
This was an excellent unbiased review. While videos like this are helpful, I'd suggest that perspective buyers should read the the user forums for the SUVs they are considering. User forums typically give the owners' actual experiences. Some of these are multi-year ownership experiences that address long term reliability. In this particular video I came away with the impression that interior size was the most important criteria. I suppose if that's the case, buyers might consider a minivan. For me, I put a premium on driving dynamics and long-term reliability over a little more interior space.
I totally agree with you. Also, lots of testers put acceleration like if it was of importance when when you buy an SUV, you don't buy it to race... Reliability and quality finishes are very important. And again, not all buyers are as tall as some testers are. I like it when testers say their height so we, the viewers, can see the space of the SUV in context with the size of the tester.
I'm with you guys, definitely on Team Hyundai for this one! I'm still in shock that a vehicle that nice is a Hyundai. It's amazing how much they've stepped up their game in the last decade.
Great review. We went with the Atlas. We need lots of space for three kids and really liked the looks of it. It also had the best bumper to bumper warranty. Also very important for us was it's lower price compared to the others. I am sure they are all great vehicles
Congrats on your choice (always buy what you like best!), but I'm confused by some details. Starting price for Atlas is around $1K less than Palisade's, but feature-wise it's basic by comparison. Adding options, Atlas balloons to several thousand more than a similar Palisade. Also warranty: VW is 4 years/50K miles on both bumper to bumper & powertrain. Hyundai is 5y/60K & 10y/100K powertrain. Are you talking about 2019 Atlas MY (pre-Palisade introduction)? VW did have a 6-year warranty, but they scrapped it for 2020+. **Btw, not bringing up the Mazda only because it was quickly stricken from our list and we didn't seriously shop it (no pano-roof, the don't-touchscreen display, easily could tell not as roomy as Palisade or Atlas).
@@romanseano our Atlas is a 2018 V6 SE with tech. It came with a 6year 62kmiles bumper to bumper warranty. List price was 38k and we paid 34 out of the door.
@@romanseano I just purchased a 2021.5 Atlas they game me the same warranty for the 2019 Tiguan i just traded in. They really wanted my Tiguan as they are short on used vehicles. 6 yr 72,000 miles 👍🏼
I’m looking to buy a CX-9 at some point. I have a 2016 Mazda 6 and it’s been so good since buying it brand new and for me personally the CX-9 hits all my boxes. I love the look and the interior, drives really well and good amount of tech, plus my girlfriend and I aren’t really close to being 6’ tall so space shouldn’t be an issue. Also I think it’s the best size, not too big and not too small. Definitely have to go with the Signature model, though lol 👌
Have a 2018 mazda cx9, I feel like it more for younger parents with kids that will eventually upgrade later down the road but is the best financial choice. Also mazda is pretty reliable, I also have a 2014 mazda 6sport
@@joelreyes6138 I like it better than others I have tried. Drive is much smoother and cabin is much quieter as well. Overall its more premium than in competing class.
@@joelreyes6138 no problems at all so far. I also have a 2014 mazda 6 sport which was when mazda first started to come back so some problems in that one but the 2018 is smooth and luxurious
Great review and I agree but shopping for these cars was a different experience. I live in NYC and was comparing the Atlas with the Palisade. Hyundai dealers were trying to get 10k over sticker on the Palisade and the leases were insane. I went with the Atlas and I have to say, I absolutely love my Atlas!
Agree 💯. I went with the Atlas R-Line 2021.5 in a blue tourmaline and beige interior and 20” interior. Had to tint windows because sun glare on the LIE was unbearable ! If I had to pick on an Atlas feature, it would be the fact their technology software needs improvement.
Just did a 1,000 mile roadtrip in a rented cx9. I was impressed with the torque, fuel economy and handling. It was a base model, but still has a premium feel. It's only me and a couple of dogs, so it would be a candidate. I do wish it was offered with a 2nd row bench on the signature level, which I'm assuming would be a big upgrade from the base model
Must be different pricing in the US because the Palisade cost more than the Atlas here. We went with the VW because we got more for the price and more room for three kids. You guys a dead on about these vehicles. Enjoyed your review.
2021 Palisade Calligraphy. Bought mine about 2 months ago. Absolutely love it!! On top of everything this vehicle has, you can't beat the factory warranty.
My wife has the Palisade 2020 Limited, which by the way is now called the Calligraphy edition. The 2021 Limited stepped down in the interior sadly. But, we got that vehicle just for her, not hauling around a big family.
I have a 19 cx9 and i love it!! So much that i pimped it.out with CorkSport! Catback exhaust, cold air intake and strut bar. Now...on the space. No offense guys but im only 175 lbs and.....you're not!! So all three of y'all need every bit of the Hyundai space! Additionally...youre not comparing apples to apples. Bring on the cx90 vs the Hyundai and that be a better comparo!
I enjoyed your video. In June I bought an Atlas Cross Sport. It was not on your video but is is basically the same as the Atlas. I love it. It's roomy, fun to drive, and comfortable. It has tons more headroom than my 08 GMC Envoy. It is much more comfortable and quiet too. After driving the VW then I get in the GMC and I'm like damn this is a noisy and rough riding vehicle. My only gripe is not the cars fault it is my fault and that is trying to figure all that the computer will do. I am learning something new every time I drive it but it is taking time. I do love the back up camera's and the cooled seats.
Feeding you guys, the bill would be astronomical. I love the review and I subbed too. Keep up the good work! I own an Atlas. The size inside is unbeatable...especially when compared to the Mazda.
Definitely one of the best review videos I've seen. Well Done boys and I love the real world practicality - 2nd and 3rd row seats and boot size comparisons are great! I'm subscribing now!
I definitively vote in favour of the Mazda CX-9. Beyond space, Mazda's durability and reliability are among the best in the automotive manufacturer's range, on the same footing as Toyota.
I bought 2022 atlas v6 4tronic, what a suv, van, truck, mini van, americarna stile , 5000 towing capacity, I couldn't ask for more, $46 k, nice 👍 VW atlas v6 4tronic
Was going for Palisade, but Kia Carnival is pulling me towards her. Carnival has everything that Palisade have, plus more space. Will have to wait for test ride both.
@@danielmurray5326 I agree, but Carnival looks almost like SUV. Not sure about driving dynamics. Also, I am not looking for a 4WD or an off-roader so Carnival makes sense for me.
@@nationalwalker11 yes for van both my brother inlaw and I both really really like the carnival. And if we needed a van that's are choice. It's a great one. I've done lots of research on it. As I only have 4 in my family I rather have palisade for the family hauler. As I have extra seats for extended family or friends and then if we want more space have rear seats down and you have a ton of room for things. I my self am looking at the new redesign of the tundra coming out soon. Wife gets the SUV and I get truck lol. New subscriber here. I ordered a 2021 Palisade Ultimate Calligraphy with the same colour interior. (Delivery in a few weeks) It’s absolutely beautiful! Thank you for confirming my choice!
Great job fellas, just found your channel. I purchased a brand new 2021 Hyundai Palisade SE for 34,000 USD. While it lacks many of the features of the Calligraphy, it has the same space, and same engine, same excellent ride quality, seating position etc. I feel like a nice Santa Fe creeps up to or surpasses the price I paid to enter the Palisade world….and my poor mans Palisade world is a much nicer place than the Santa Fe world.
Great vid, just went back for another view. Palisade probably wins at MSRP, but 10 months after you made this, good luck with finding that. At this tier, pretty much all the options are significantly over MSRP. $60K Highlanders, Tellurides marked up 24%, Palisades that you have to order sight unseen with unknown delivery dates. Tried downsizing and the Sante Fe Calligraphy was the same as the MSRP for the Palisade Calligraphy. I know it is long in the tooth, but plopped a deposit down on a CX 9 Signature that arrives this week and was able to get it for 3% under MSRP. For folks like us that couldn't wait, and people like me that refuse to pay these mark ups, this might be a good option.
Looked at all three, plus Highlander and Telluride .....cx9 won, best value, reliability and best driver.,,,does lose out on cargo if that is an issue.....
I own a Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy edition. Same color as the one tested, and WOAH BABY! This thing is SUPER plush! My sister-in-law and daughter both have an Atlas, and they BOTH like my Palisade better! :)
Don't forget about the Hyundai warrant. Can't beat 10 miles/100k mile power train. Ended up with a Palisade when we were originally trying to get into a Telluride. I think it's the hidden gem.
Telluride is the car to have and had a 10K markup here and higher I hear in some places. Not that high a markup for the Palisade...yes essentially identical cars.
Test drove all 3 and went with the VW atlas SEL R-Line. Classy, comfortable, and loaded with features. Yea the Palisade has a fancier interior, but I couldn't get past the Hyundai stigma.
I Looked At All Of Them And I Ended Up Buying The Palisade SEL With The Second Row Bench, Convenience/Premium Packages. I Am Not A Fan Of Four Cylinder Engines In SUV'S, Especially The Larger Ones. The Six In The Hyundai Is SOOO Smooth And Quiet And Of Course There Is The Warranty, I LOVE My Palisade, But For Every Season; There Is A Reason.
I love the looks of the Atlas, hate the price and the fuel economy. I HATE the overdone looks of the Palisade, love the features, content and value. However, I own a Mazda CX-9 and despite the long life cycle, I would still choose it. Remember the old adage: “size is relative,” because it’s true. The mazda is quiet, efficient, refined, and you still get more interior room than virtually any 2 row crossover on the market. At 5’9” I have ridden in the 3rd row seat with zero problems. Mazda builds cars for those who enjoy driving and the CX-9 is no exception.
Volkswagen Atlas for the win , best looking in my opinion. Has an aisin transmission and you can’t go wrong with the vr6 engine ! I’m currently waiting for my 2022 atlas se with technology package white with black interior to arrive from the Chattanooga plant to my dealership.
I enjoyed your review for each vehicles costs for purchasing, costs of gas mileage, and what options, and space each have, but I want to know more info on costs of owning each vehicle. Like to recommend adding some additional information to your reviews, to help customers make their choice. I would like to hear : 1 - what are the crash tests results & consumer ratings for each vehicle. 2 - what the factory warranty lengths & terms are for each vehicle. 3 - what are the average costs to insure each vehicle. 4 - what the average costs of driving each vehicle for 15k miles per year. 5 - what the number of dealerships across the country are, for each brand which makes it easier to find/get maintenance/repairs while traveling. 6 - what the resale values are for each vehicle after 5 years of use. I believe majority of car buyers today are all about costs, and what they get for their money ... The Volkswagen Atlas size and practicality is perfect for me, it large enough for 6 adults, its $20-30k less & better gas mileage than the larger Suburban that a traded in, cheaper to insure, and small enough for my wife to park easily, and drive daily around town.
My buddy is going strong with his Mazda at 268K miles, no engine transmission, timing chain issues. Very minor maintenance cost. And best of al, this giy is driving in the city day in and day out for Uber and Lyft. Not sure about Hyundai but im confident Volkswagen would have quit long before then
It was interesting that the Altas was the largest but had the least amount of payload capacity per the door sticker. Then the CX-9 was the smallest but had the largest payload capacity.

Same here. Love my CX-9 Carbon Edition. It’s very stylish, I feel like I’m driving a luxury vehicle, and it drives like a sedan. Best car I have ever owned hands down. Have never had any issues with the third row and I put adults back there.
Mazda is good but embarrassing to drive, alot of famous people laugh at them, same as honda hundai , and kia, so i gotta get an audi or Volkswagen
We tested all 3. Went with atlas. My husband is 6’2 and I’m 5’8 we needed the space for our twins and double stroller in the trunk with 3rd row up.
How has it been for you after 2 years
The wife and I chose the cx9 and fucking love it. It has so much torque that it surprises you when you get on the gas.
Crazy how Mazda's 2.5 liter 4 cylinder turbo puts out more torque than both V6 engines in the Atlas and Palisade! I'd pick the Mazda over the other 2 anyway. Has the best reliability and looks too!
Agreed…my 4.5yr old 2017 CX-9 no reliability issues whatsoever and great on gas (for its size)!
The 3rd row and overall interior and trunk space is way smaller than the others and the palisade isn’t bad on reliability and only now Mazda is getting there for their tech
Own CX9 and love her! Great performance & powerful.
Good luck with those turbos going out. Some garbage 4 banger being overworked by turbos.
We have a cx9 (coming from an Explorer). We miss the extra cargo in the back, but overall we feel like we stepped up in driving and refinement.
I'll go with the Mazda CX-9 better fuel mileage, slick look in and out, turbo and not everyone is 6ft tall, so the third row seat is fine with me.
Plus the interior is so much prettier..I wish they had power fold mirrors, but I do love it!
I have the 2020 Hyundai Palisades ultimate and I love it. Best SUV in the market so far.
Agreed, the interior space of those three rival even some full size SUVs
@@tag1pumpkin until 2021 the traverse and atlas had more cargo space than the tahoe and the palisade wasn't too far behind. The CX9 is a whole tier down
I’d love to see you guys do 2 or 3 more of these three way three row crossover comparisons and bring the winner from each in for a championship. Or try to set up a huge comparison with them all at once over a weekend with other channels.
Yeah there is so much competition in this category, it is probably hard for them to get availability to test as many as are made.
That warranty only applies to USA. Canada only gets the 5 year warranty unfortunately.
Cx9 is a SUV that tries not to be and SUV.. feels like a sport sedan.different than all the rest.its mint.

It’s all about the drive. That MAzda g vector control is crazy good! I’ve driven all 3 too and they don’t compare to that mazda drive control. You really feel it when u step on that pedal after cornering! MAzda best.
If it's all about the drive, you wouldn't buy a 3 row SUV
@@noodosoop u seemed to have missed my point. Meaning the drive for this category suv! Of course if I wanted a sportier drive I’d buy a sports car but that’s not this topic. There’s a reason they designed this vehicle to be smaller and handle better than your typical boxy suvs.
Mazda is known for their handling. Just wait until they switch over to rear drive bias!
Love the CX-9....the drive is brilliant
@@vizionct1 ....I needed a 7 seater for kids and for the odd guest, hence why the CX-9 works for me. But the drive is impeccable....love the car.
Yes! They don't rust anymore. And Mazda's last longer than Hyundai.
That was when they were connected with Ford we know 😢 they rust.
I LOVE my CX9! It’s my second one, I had a 2010 before my current one and I absolutely love it!
Palisade Ultimate trim ! Calligraphy way to go
Considering the Mazda is mostly unchanged from 2016 it still holds up better against the other 2 IMO.
We really did our homework and test drive a few options. Atlas and the CX-9 were one of our options as well as the Kia Telluride but finally went with and purchased the Palisade two days ago and we love it the best choice we ever made. Thanks guys.
Thanks for sharing!
Great 👍🏼 choice gentlemen! I just bought my wife a Palisade and it’s an absolutely astonishing vehicle!!
This is the best review i have seen in recent times. You guys covered everything from the buyer's POV. There's lots of reviewers who just test 0 to 60🤷🏽♂️.
Great review

Glad you liked it!
I agree, this channel is definitely much better and the fluff and goofiness over at TFL. I was happy when he left that channel and started this one.
Agree 100%!
That's a wise choice and I agree 💯 %.
The resale on their vehicles seems to be quite low tho... but man are those things nice.
@@bryanmayes9234, until your engine catches on 🔥.

2021 Mazda cx9 Carbon edition, love mine. Safety ratings, gas milage, many reasons to buy
Indeed. the dealer "experience" is a whole nother topic. Not always a pleasant one.

Now...on the space. No offense guys but im only 175 lbs and.....you're not!! So all three of y'all need every bit of the Hyundai space!
Additionally...youre not comparing apples to apples. Bring on the cx90 vs the Hyundai and that be a better comparo!
Wait til you try out the smart cruise control on the Palisade. That will blow your mind
You mean the same cruise assist in the other car brands? Nothing new lol

Geesh I have the VW Atlas and love it but after this review, my next vehicle may be a Palisade.
Hyundai Palisade is a no brainer. Great video, subscribed.

Don't forget about the Hyundai warrant. Can't beat 10 miles/100k mile power train. Ended up with a Palisade when we were originally trying to get into a Telluride. I think it's the hidden gem.
Hyundai Kia has the same warranty
Hyundai owns Kia
Btw in the longest of times, I've not seen anyone give such a good in detail comparison
I'd choose the VW.

I would like to hear :
1 - what are the crash tests results & consumer ratings for each vehicle.
Atlas by far even price is better based in incentives
Nice comparison from all 3 of you. Keep up the great work!!
My buddy is going strong with his Mazda at 268K miles, no engine transmission, timing chain issues. Very minor maintenance cost. And best of al, this giy is driving in the city day in and day out for Uber and Lyft.
Not sure about Hyundai but im confident Volkswagen would have quit long before then
Hyundai and volkswagen will fall apart close to 100k
My santa fe is at 149 k as of today and somehow didiny fall apart@yournightmare9999
I love the palisade.
It was interesting that the Altas was the largest but had the least amount of payload capacity per the door sticker. Then the CX-9 was the smallest but had the largest payload capacity.
Makes sense to me. The larger body is heavier so eats up the GVWR (that comes from axles and chassis), leaving a smaller payload remaining.
@@alexs3187 I came to say the same. it's hard for people to understand the concept. same applies with 2x4 vs 4x4 trucks. people are always surprised the 2wd has a higher tow rating..
