- The Caribbean Spashdown appears in the Home Bar Guide For Tropical Cocktails by Kelly Reilly and Tom Morgan. This topical / tiki cocktail is simple and full of flavour. The vanilla highlights the orange and cinnamon and blends beautifully with the rum. It's very pretty too. Try it out, and let me know what you think.

CARIBBEAN SPLASHDOWN
1.5 oz/45 ml Light Rum
.5 oz/15 ml Blue Curacao
.25 oz/7.5 ml Vanilla Liqueur
1 oz/30 ml Lime Juice
.5 oz/15 ml Cinnamon Syrup
METHOD
1. Add all of the ingredients to a shaker tin.
2. Shake with crushed ice for 5 seconds.
3. Fill a ricks glass half way with crushed ice.
4. Free pour the mixture into the glass.
5. Top with ice.
