Trail damage just means you and the Ram had fun! Crinkled sheet metal doesn't affect performance. It's the mechanicals that count -- protect them -- rearranging sheet metal is fun. Hope the paint job works.

Yeah! Exactly! I added two more layers of paint two days later as I saw some chips come off. To be fair, I did bottom out going over a sand/gravel crest

    Good thing your truck’s black.
I just recently touched up my vehicle’s doors’ inner bottom panels with thermclad and rusts seem to reappear. The can said it can be painted on rusts directly but does not appear to do the job. Let me know how that stands after a couple of weeks!

I will update again in a month. I have been advised that I need to apply a few more coats than the 2 I did. TBH, I don't trust anything that says it can be painted right on rust like this. Never has worked in the past.
If this fails, or rust come through, I will dremel out the spots properly.

It works but it will peel off easier than the original paint once you hit the trails

@I_am_TrevorJ shit I left another comment about using fluid film before winter. I meant with that, lol. Not the rust paint oops
