Camping on a beach? Big Jet Lake Adventure
I took a weekend to join Kevin and Glen on a trip to Kenora's Big Jet Lake. It was a pretty cool adventure to a beachfront off-grid camping location. Lots of pin stripping from the overgrown pathway and half a dozen fallen trees. Unfortunately, I had to cut it short due to a last-minute booking.

Not so off grid if you can get your lifted truck in there lmao
Not backwoods.. off-grid, aka. No power/water/service 😅
If you mean the shortcut in the lockscreen then it‘s a skill issue. You gotta hold the button for a moment 😂
Holding, tapping or short press, long press was not working.
And, i mean the new button dedicated to the camera.
Your a warlock you devil you 🤡🤣
I love my trail boss
Looks like a great truck option
If that was a Ford with leaf springs that might not have occurred. Great driving that day, Bud....
What happened to leave No trace bahahhahah pretty sure everyone scrapes there
My bad. 😂
Love it!
Hell ya
Good, very good!)) 🤗🙏
I'm looking at buying one. 2022 5.7 with 30K miles for $38K. It's in really good shape. Is it worth it?
That seems like a decent deal. Only 30k miles, should easily be good for another 30k. One thing to keep in mind is fuel cost, i had a durango V8 with the 5.9 magnum which was a but rough on fuel, but switching to the truck with the 5.7 hemi, it was a loooot worse. My point is, i could afford the truck but not the significant increase in fuel. So make sure you calculate all the additional costs not just the cost of the truck itself. Learn from my mistake. 😅
@@I_am_TrevorJ I have a company truck so I won't need it to get back and forth from work. I'd only drive it 10K a year at most.
Did it lower the front after adding the 1.5” to the rear? I just added a 2” leveling kit to the front of my 2019 Ram classic and now the rear is about the same as the front or a bit lower. I don’t like the look either.
it should lower the very front ever so slightly. Functionally for offroad, not a noticeable change, however, sitting position, and steering on long drives has a notable difference. I wont ever do a "leveling" kit again.
Looks like great fun! Great viudeo -- gladto see the Ram. had fun too!
Hell ya! Thank you :D

The funny thing about this is that the truck is a 6-cylinder. Imagine if it was an 8-cylinder or a twin-turbo 6-cylinder. That would be interesting.😮
Yeah, its the v6, and the “highway” gears of 3.55 with the 35s. With that mix, on paper, it shouldnt be good. But hey, look at it go.
Great truck I have the same one
@@richardm2596 hell yeah!
Based off everything you have said in here, my suggestion to your comment of gears and spending money or a new vehicle... I would say keep the truck. If you want to get a jeep to play with that's cool.. but I would re gear the truck and keep it. You know the truck and it's capabilities. And it serves many functions that you love. Its your toy when you want it to be and your work horse when you need it to be. Plus I always love seeing it out on the trails and witnessing what it can do! ❤ Cheers my friend. Great review! And to answer your question if I needed one I would get one like yours.
Thank you! Ok, I am leaning even more towards just regearing. That is true, I am learning its capabilities and its limitations, which is a great thing to know. TBH, I am surprised on what it is able to accomplish off road. Cheers! Talk soon, and we will see you on the trails :D
My 2019 classic night edition 5.7 I was getting around 12 -13 liters per 100 on highway when towing it's was getting 17 liters per 100 I got rid of it couple weeks ago it had 312,000km had no drivetrain issue it was a work truck and it had 5w20 conventional oil change now my new ram classic slt black out with all option available is better on gas I get about 10 liters per 100km but the recommended oil is 0w20 I think that has somting to do with better gas mileage and I alway run 33 12.5 20 on these trucks and they work every day
@@joloclayfamily43 Thank you so much for the detailed information. Gives me a good perspective on where I sit on fuel econ with the V6.
Sunroof ? Not happening.
We’d love to hear about the truck but all we hear is advertising for his business.
I got a 2017 SLT. The Warlock is basically from the SLT trim but has the add ons. 3.6L V6. Came with stock 265/70r17 Kelly Edge AT. Was getting 18-19mpg, most was 22.7. Got a set of Rebel rims with LT285/70r17s for $500 used off marketplace not too long ago and I'm getting 17mpg. Yeah the V6 is a bit quick, not fast. I'll take it over any turbo V6/I6 engines.
Just ordered those tires
Wicked! Enjoy them!
Could we get a night shot maybe 🤔
Does anyone know the difference between the 2019 and 2021 warlock? I'm sorry if it's a stupid question lol I'm looking to buy my first truck very soon

@@newlion7013 t’was.
How is the ride quality? I’m thinking about adding this particular spacer to my rear. It’s a Ram 1500 as well.
@@aalcorn409 ride quality is the same as stock. Its maintains its smooth ride and comfort which i like. You will notice the center of gravity difference with sitting a little bit higher and in extreme cases you can bottom out the shock earlier, and i do mean in extreme off roading situations or trying to go fast over moguls. Tbh i feel its more of the trucks stock features are the limit. Anyways, ride quality is still as good as OEM.
@@I_am_TrevorJ Good to hear. Just to be specific, I have a 2” leveling strut on my front side and I also swapped my OEM rear shock absorbers for a 0-2” Bilstein 5100s.
@@aalcorn409 Im debating on switching out the spring and shock for a taller and longer travel set and keeping the spacer. How do you like the 5100’s?
@@aalcorn409 you should be in a better position to add the spacer lift with the longer 5100s installed already.
@@I_am_TrevorJ With the 5100s you can tell the difference in with the ride comfort. Plus they aren’t close to bottoming out, so that’s the good thing about them. When I replace them with the OEM parts they were already bottom out.
I mean they aren't 3pmsf rated
Yeah, that is the reason I stress that these are not for winter. People here have been saying these are good for winter conditions, to those people, I don't think they have ever run a dedicated winter tire. There is a huge performance gap.
Sweet video!

what an awesome truck, thank you for this video. I'm looking at buying the same truck but 2024. Last year before turbo junk engines
@@nastysoda9212 its been a good truck so far
Did you make a purchase yet? I'm doing research and really leaning towards a Hemi, my only concern is about the negativity about the hemi knocking.
@@enriquevenegas9931 After more researching, I couldn't buy it, the engine is a major liability. The lifters go out before 50k miles and knock like hell. Have two co-workers that warned me, they both went through it with theirs. Getting a 2025 F-150 with the 5.0l v8. Only downside to that one is the damn phaser rattle, but it's nothing comapred to the hemi. The electric motor crap is also a major problem if you don't get a classic
@@enriquevenegas9931 i have had a Hemi before. Had the tick to it, but ran until i sold it. I think i am going to keep running this V6 truck until it dies. Which could be soon if i keep towing with it. I should make an update on towing with the v6. Its not as bad as i thought it was going to be

Thank you. I should put a little reel together for RUclips.
So all you had to do was take the bolt out of the rear shock in order to remove the spring and put the spacer in that’s it
Yeah, extremely simple to do on the rear of the truck. In all, 5 bolts, one for each shock, one for the track bar, and one for mounting each spacer at the top.
Yeah, I was wondering why other people that did the same space or put them on the bottom and you put yours on the top
@@davelombardo1710 Oh it depends on the year make and model of the truck. Mine is at the top, which I thought was odd, as anyone we have put on in the past was just squeezed in at the bottom. Or on other trucks we have done, (leaf springs) it was literally a block and longer U-bolts.
