    I have this model and it is such an improvement over the prior model. The suction and battery life are greatly improved, the side brushes spin at a faster speed to bring more debris into the robot. The mapping was super quick and quite accurate as well. I am happy with my purchase.

      How do you like it? We have 2700 sq ft carpet, tile and vinyl. One Persian cat and 1 girl. Concerned about pet hair and ability to clean carpets. Any issues with emptying the dirt bin or hair breaking or getting stuck on rollers etc? How is the maintenance? Does it auto detect when the on-board bin is full and go back to the base for a clean or does it keep cleaning but doing a poor job because the bin is full? Does the robot detect when the outside waste bin bag is full?

    I’ll tell ya! If I reviewed robot vacuum my house would be super clean even with 2 dogs. I have 2 robot vacuums to do the job every other day. I’m amazed how much dirt, hair etc it picks up. Bought a used roomba pet version to keep up with the dirt the dogs 🐕 bring in!.

    Shark and Ninja are the same company and their Ninja kitchen division has changed from making junk to being the most innovator in kitchen appliances and everyone is now chasing them. I feel they will soon become the leader in robot vacumms just need 1 or 2 more upgrades. Intresting to see how well they support software updates

    I got one of these a couple of weeks ago. I read that it could store 2 maps and 1 temporary map. It was having difficulty getting my upstairs mapped, which is almost completely carpet. I called Shark tech support. The guy there told me it could only store 1 map. I didn't like that & I was going to return it. After confirming my serial number he told me I needed a firmware update. So after waiting almost 48 hours for it, I finally got back to working the robot and vacuuming. With the firmware up date it mapped my upstairs OK after 2-3 times. I find it actually does a good job. I have used it on the main floor and my finished basement and it's been working good. It can only save one map but it just keeps vacuuming till that floor is completely finished. It very rarely gets stuck. One time I left a pair of sneakers on the floor and it sucked the shoe lace up and got stuck. My fault. So I'm keeping it. It's doing OK. I'll see how this works out over the next 6 months or so and if it's OK I think I'll leave this one in the finished basement and get a better one that can save more maps. I have two full size vacuums, one being a Dyson (not impressed with Dyson). I think I'll ditch the Dyson and the Bissel and just get the best light weight cordless (not a Dyson) so I can get the corners and the tight spots the robot can't get to. These robot vacuums have improved greatly in the past few years. So overall thumbs up for robot vacuums from me.

      How was the Shark after one year?

    • @ozzie444
      @ozzie444 Год назад

      @Ry Deg Good. No problems. It does a good job. Only minor issue it only saves one floor plan so multiple floors don't get saved to memory. But not really a big deal because it just saves over again but probably the newer model saves multiple floor plans. The price was right and it does a good job. I've got a light cordless vacuum for tight spots the Shark can't get. I'm gonna sell my $700 Dyson. It's a pain in the butt to use anyway.

    I just bought this exact robot brand new on Wed. I have had nothing but issues to get it to map the house. Getting hair stuck in the roller, debris getting hung up between the bot and the dock. The app is crap on my android Note S20+. Battery doesn't last very long. Can not send bot to one selected room(after 3 day of get a partial map) I called Tech Support. They're Support call me back 24-48 hrs. If they don't, it's going back to the store. So right now I rate this unit as a big fat Zero.

    I don't really see a place in the market for this machine at the current time. No doubt they'll have the Shark obsessed that thinks everything they do is the best ever. But realistically what does this have over a $250-300 self empty robot like the Lydsto/Autovac Nova? Those robots mop, also have LIDAR and self empty. Only thing I can think of that they'd lack is the timed self empty. Outside that given the Shark reliability and parts availability on both their robots and normal vacuums I'd say the Lydsto and especially Autovac Nova will probably have better parts support and equal if not better reliability at less than half the price. The IQ at least made sense for a POS when it was the cheapest self empty robot on the market. But I just can't see a real reason to buy this at this price point unless someone just *must" have a Shark.

    • @AdamsReviews
