Say what you want about this game, but three things are for certain: Not only did it have a lot of potential that was sadly wasted, it had/has an amazing soundtrack & arguably one of, if not the BEST villain we ever got (Mephiles). I just realized that in the past Sonic games before Sonic 06, Sonic doesn't take damage to the final boss or anything in his super form since he is invincible. When the boss hits you with their attack, it doesn't hurt you but will instead push you away. And you do need rings to stay in your super form. Solaris in this game, can actually hurt you in this game. It makes sense because it is a Super Dimensional life form.

My favorite thing about this game was the introduction to Silver into the series. I don't actually see him around that often, but him along with Blaze (who was actually in Rush) are my favorite new characters. Relatively new
18:05 - 20:33 (except the kiss) The most epic scene of this game and probably one of best scenes of the entire _Sonic_ series. The music, the CGI, the emotion of the scene, the moving proximity between Sonic and Elise after his resurrection, the epicness of the transformation of the three hedgehogs. Awesome.
That scene was kinda confusing to me. Sonic went super for no reason at all other than the fact all the Chaos Emeralds were right there. It's just he usually does it on purpose so this just didn't make sense to me. If they're trying to say Elise's.. love.. for him is what triggered the transformation that just makes what could have been a good scene with Super Sonic totally gross.
@@trickq5883 The emeralds have an energy that can feel the "desires" of their users. In this case, it was inferred that Sonic was not actually dead, but critically injured and on the verge of death. Thus, the "wish" of everyone there, including Sonic, is what ignited the emeralds to transform him into SS. Yet, the kiss was totally gross, I would have preferred a tear from Elise or any other thing that goes more with the tone of the series.
The scene always gives me shivers when Mephiles fuses with Iblis and consumes the power of all 7 chaos emeralds. Mephiles is truly the best villain in the franchise. Hands down!

If this game had the time to iron out its issues, it would've been a good game. The game isn't bad because it's a bad game. It's bad because it's unplayable, being the technical issues it had ruined the gameplay.
It's very playable it's only unplayable if you make it. I've played the entire game and only encountered 2 gitches the rest of the game ran fine, The only reason why it's glitchy is because you are looking for them

I honestly don't like that about Elise with Sonic, the good thing is that in this way, that relationship started right there, it ended, since in the same game they make them forget that they met and that makes me happy, basically it's just a separate and forgotten story It would be like an alternate story since by forgetting Elise in the end she practically never existed for him, only we players know what happened (?) and well so we return to the same old thing Sonic does not have someone in specific: v although they always give indications that there is chemistry with Amy but good is my opinion xd
Indeed plus he was handled better then Infinite ever was true he was in a terrible game but he was a manipulative psychotic and intimidating villain that I feel he deserves more respect then the hate he gets despite the terrible game he's in. To me the good things about this game is the CG cutscenes the soundtrack and Shadow's story I also admire that Sega tried to make the best Sonic game they could even though they both made bad decisions and ran into unfortunate circumstances that forced their hand which lead to arguably the worst Sonic game ever made Sonic 06. But disclaimer I wouldn't call it one of the worst video games of all time trust me there are games that are far far worse Sonic 06 is terrible there's no denying that but it's far from being one of the worst games ever made and this is just my opinion and I will gladly take it to my grave no matter what you all say about it I'm not scared of the internet anymore nor will I ever be again my opinion is mine alone and if the whole world hates it then that's their problem you won't ever hear me complain about your opinions. Here’s what I think Sonic 06 should be: 1. Instead of Elise be a main character in the game she should be a side character, reduced to a child and be with her father still. She also makes a bond with Blaze after she saves her from “Eggman’s” robots upon arriving in Sonic’s dimension. A grownup version of Elise who is young Elise’s descendent, lives in Silver’s future and is one of his closest friends trying to set the future right. She gives him a Time Stone (like in Sonic CD) to time travel and remind him that no matter how important it is to save their world, she reminds him that not all hope is lost if he fails to do so. 2. Instead of Eggman trying to create the Solaris prototype it control time and space, it’s actually Eggman Nega disguised as Eggman. He has a device that can make him travel between dimensions (hence the reason he was in Blaze’s world) but needs the Solaris prototype along with the Sol or Chaos Emeralds to control time and space with out infecting himself while doing so. He even threatens the Duke of Soleanna by kidnapping you Elise (once) so he can get the prototype plans. He wants to erase Eggman for ruining his reputation and be known as the true greatest scientific genius in the world. This will cause Eggman to team up with Sonic and stop Eggman Nega from destroying all of existence. 3.The reason why Blaze will be in the story is that she finds out about Eggman Nega’s dimensional device and follows him to Silver’s timeline. But her and Silver clash a few times because Silver is convinced that Blaze is Iblis in its weak state (do to Mephiles’s manipulation). But after working together to rescue Young Elise from “Eggman”and learning his real identity, they team to stop him. 4. Blaze finds out that the reason why she has pyrokinesis, is because Iblis is sealed inside of her. And if she dies Iblis will be free. But the power of the Sol Emeralds can revive her because she is still their guardian. The first gameplay of the final story will be about collecting the Sol Emeralds to save Blaze, and then she’ll join the Final Boss stage along Side Supers Sonic, Shadow and Silver as Burning Blaze.

I don't understand why fans hate Elise and Chris from Sonic X Seriously they both saved Sonic's life if it wasn't for them Sonic would be dead. Ok, with all this game's flaws firmly acknowledged, I like the very end because it implies a lot of happy things. Even though Elise and Sonic never meet and they don't get to be friends in the same way (I'm ignoring the kiss on purpose right now), Silver presumably lives in a happy future, and Blaze is with him (and not sealed away forever alone in another dimension). Perhaps Elise's father is alive and ruling with her instead of her ruling alone. Elise presumably has not grown up having to suppress all feelings and is probably doing a lot better emotionally, mentally, etc. The holiday celebrated in that last cutscene is truly a holiday without the foreboding undertones of "but what if the flames get released?". Anyway, that's what I like about it.

S06 could replicate this shit, but add the Master Emerald and Freddie Highmore (as Tails) along with some live Heitor Pereira-style orchestra: a Tokyo-based orchestra known as the *Sonic The Hedgehog Session Orchestra* - featuring Daisensei Muroya's string group. Also, S06 is my take on a cinematic version of *Sonic The Hedgehog (2006)* in the style of *Imagi Studios* - an international animation studio that has been defunct for twelve years. It is also based off of the completed P-06, kinda like how Project Shadow (Imagi version of Shadow The Hedgehog [2005]) is based off of the Teen version of Shadow The Hedgehog (2005).
Also, there will be Hyper Sonic, as Knuckles will use the *Master Emerald* to turn the *Chaos Emeralds* into the *Super Emeralds* (from Sonic 3 & Knuckles), ergo allowing the user to go hyper. And another thing: Gregor F. Narholz will compose and arrange some of the music, adding orchestral underscores to the rock n' roll songs, and rearranging the cutscene music to be more lively, sometimes making songs like Time-Space Rift (by Hideaki Kobayashi) sound more ominous and creepy when the cast hears the sound of Solaris by adding some timpani and shit.

But the real question is how much chaos energy does one chaos emerald hold, and how much energy does it take to turn on anthropomorphic hedgehog into its super form. But there’s also questions like “does the time they have in their super form shorten if there’s more than one or two at a time?” Or “you one turns super and then splits his power between himself and two others give all three of them as much power as they would have if they were turned all at the same time” and what is the max limit of people who can go super at a time and how long would that max amount of people be able to maintain their super forms” a lot of thought has to be used in order to get these ideas rolling and I think you’re on the right track
My guess is that these seven chaos emeralds that the three use have the power of all of the emeralds from the past, present, and future; which basically makes it infinite energy, allowing them to contend against solaris. However during a specific period of time, they only hold so much power, allowing them to be drained.

To clear things up: Solaris is the Mobius god of Flame and Hope. It empowers and feeds on the atmosphere/natural-energy of dimensions and realities. Its/his/her true power is to defend against the darkness, although what that darkness is I was not sure of until now. Now I'm sure Solaris's purpose was to give the life on Mobius the power to defend themselves against Dark Gia, (half of) the Mobius "earth" god of the planet (I use the word earth in terms of the element of rock, hence the quotes). However, much like Gia, Solaris has a dark twin/personality, Mephelis the Mobius god of Darkness and Dispair. Whenever Mephelis assumes total control, Solaris becomes the consumer of realities, the flames of destruction, and this form is known as Iblis. Because Solaris is the partly god of hope, it/he/she can never truly disappear, unless all life in the reality from which it currently occupies were to cease. For much like hope, it can only be given or accumulated but never destroyed. To help understand why the time portion is rendered insignificant, remember this all to true quote: "Time is an illusion, and so is Death."

What I’m thinking is Izuku Midoriya (from MHA) is a mobian Lion (yes there is No humans in this what so ever aside from eggman.) who wishes to be a hero. I play a lot of video games tbh so I'm experienced enough for this to matter imo. Sonic 2006 will forever be ONE of my most favorite games of all time. I haven't played a lot of Sonic games though admittedly so I won't say it's the best of the franchise but from the few others that I've played, I really do love it in comparison.

Mephiles is the best villian in the sonic series for me. He was able to kill him without wasting too much time talking about how he wants to destroy sonic and in the end getting his ass whooped by sonic . What a cold mf xD Overall I love the game even with all its flaws and glitches. Sonic 06 has entertained me the most out of all the other games. I just like the direction they took for this game. With more time and maybe a few changes, this game would have been loved by more people. My changes would be the relationship between Sonic and Elise. I'm also not a big fan of this romance thing either sadly but seeing them as innocent friends would be better. For Elise, sonic should have been her first and only friend, someone who shows her the world. But more innocent of course. And at the end, instead of the kiss, maybe Elise could have dropped a tear on sonics face in order to wake up him again with the chaos emeralds. And maybe give Elise a stronger personality and not be that whiny but that's just a preference. Other than that, I loved the music, the character interactions and the ideas of the stages . I know Sega has now the power to give this game a chance but sadly they won't do it :(

Well, I think Eggman means Mephiles wanted to make Elise cry so that the king would be angry. So he tricked Silver into killing sonic by blaming sonic for the destruction of his world. I think he's evil. Just like Eggman tricked Knuckles into defeating sonic just because they're fighting buddies.

Thus, the "wish" of everyone there, including Sonic, is what ignited the emeralds to transform him into SS. Yet, the kiss was totally gross, I would have preferred a tear from Elise or any other thing that goes more with the tone of the series.
The scene always gives me shivers when Mephiles fuses with Iblis and consumes the power of all 7 chaos emeralds. Mephiles is truly the best villain in the franchise. Hands down!

Indeed plus he was handled better then Infinite ever was true he was in a terrible game but he was a manipulative psychotic and intimidating villain that I feel he deserves more respect then the hate he gets despite the terrible game he's in. To me the good things about this game is the CG cutscenes the soundtrack and Shadow's story I also admire that Sega tried to make the best Sonic game they could even though they both made bad decisions and ran into unfortunate circumstances that forced their hand which lead to arguably the worst Sonic game ever made Sonic 06. But disclaimer I wouldn't call it one of the worst video games of all time trust me there are games that are far far worse Sonic 06 is terrible there's no denying that but it's far from being one of the worst games ever made and this is just my opinion and I will gladly take it to my grave no matter what you all say about it I'm not scared of the internet anymore nor will I ever be again my opinion is mine alone and if the whole world hates it then that's their problem you won't ever hear me complain about your opinions. Here’s what I think Sonic 06 should be:
1. Instead of Elise be a main character in the game she should be a side character, reduced to a child and be with her father still. She also makes a bond with Blaze after she saves her from “Eggman’s” robots upon arriving in Sonic’s dimension. A grownup version of Elise who is young Elise’s descendent, lives in Silver’s future and is one of his closest friends trying to set the future right. She gives him a Time Stone (like in Sonic CD) to time travel and remind him that no matter how important it is to save their world, she reminds him that not all hope is lost if he fails to do so.
2. Instead of Eggman trying to create the Solaris prototype it control time and space, it’s actually Eggman Nega disguised as Eggman. He has a device that can make him travel between dimensions (hence the reason he was in Blaze’s world) but needs the Solaris prototype along with the Sol or Chaos Emeralds to control time and space with out infecting himself while doing so. He even threatens the Duke of Soleanna by kidnapping you Elise (once) so he can get the prototype plans. He wants to erase Eggman for ruining his reputation and be known as the true greatest scientific genius in the world. This will cause Eggman to team up with Sonic and stop Eggman Nega from destroying all of existence.
3.The reason why Blaze will be in the story is that she finds out about Eggman Nega’s dimensional device and follows him to Silver’s timeline. But her and Silver clash a few times because Silver is convinced that Blaze is Iblis in its weak state (do to Mephiles’s manipulation). But after working together to rescue Young Elise from “Eggman”and learning his real identity, they team to stop him.
4. Blaze finds out that the reason why she has pyrokinesis, is because Iblis is sealed inside of her. And if she dies Iblis will be free. But the power of the Sol Emeralds can revive her because she is still their guardian. The first gameplay of the final story will be about collecting the Sol Emeralds to save Blaze, and then she’ll join the Final Boss stage along Side Supers Sonic, Shadow and Silver as Burning Blaze.
That would be better!! Someone need to make a fanfic of this I swear!!!

Ok, with all this game's flaws firmly acknowledged, I like the very end because it implies a lot of happy things. Even though Elise and Sonic never meet and they don't get to be friends in the same way (I'm ignoring the kiss on purpose right now), Silver presumably lives in a happy future, and Blaze is with him (and not sealed away forever alone in another dimension). Perhaps Elise's father is alive and ruling with her instead of her ruling alone. Elise presumably has not grown up having to suppress all feelings and is probably doing a lot better emotionally, mentally, etc. The holiday celebrated in that last cutscene is truly a holiday without the foreboding undertones of "but what if the flames get released?".
Anyway, that's what I like about it.

S06 could replicate this shit, but add the Master Emerald and Freddie Highmore (as Tails) along with some live Heitor Pereira-style orchestra: a Tokyo-based orchestra known as the *Sonic The Hedgehog Session Orchestra* - featuring Daisensei Muroya's string group. Also, S06 is my take on a cinematic version of *Sonic The Hedgehog (2006)* in the style of *Imagi Studios* - an international animation studio that has been defunct for twelve years. It is also based off of the completed P-06, kinda like how Project Shadow (Imagi version of Shadow The Hedgehog [2005]) is based off of the Teen version of Shadow The Hedgehog (2005).
Also, there will be Hyper Sonic, as Knuckles will use the *Master Emerald* to turn the *Chaos Emeralds* into the *Super Emeralds* (from Sonic 3 & Knuckles), ergo allowing the user to go hyper. And another thing: Gregor F. Narholz will compose and arrange some of the music, adding orchestral underscores to the rock n' roll songs, and rearranging the cutscene music to be more lively, sometimes making songs like Time-Space Rift (by Hideaki Kobayashi) sound more ominous and creepy when the cast hears the sound of Solaris by adding some timpani and shit.
Even if the game isn’t really that good, you gotta admit, the CG in most of the cutscenes look gorgeous, especially in the ending

But the real question is how much chaos energy does one chaos emerald hold, and how much energy does it take to turn on anthropomorphic hedgehog into its super form. But there’s also questions like “does the time they have in their super form shorten if there’s more than one or two at a time?” Or “you one turns super and then splits his power between himself and two others give all three of them as much power as they would have if they were turned all at the same time” and what is the max limit of people who can go super at a time and how long would that max amount of people be able to maintain their super forms” a lot of thought has to be used in order to get these ideas rolling and I think you’re on the right track
My guess is that these seven chaos emeralds that the three use have the power of all of the emeralds from the past, present, and future; which basically makes it infinite energy, allowing them to contend against solaris. However during a specific period of time, they only hold so much power, allowing them to be drained.
Being Super doesn't mean you can't transmit the power to other people, especially if they are already able to use the Chaos energy.

To clear things up: Solaris is the Mobius god of Flame and Hope. It empowers and feeds on the atmosphere/natural-energy of dimensions and realities. Its/his/her true power is to defend against the darkness, although what that darkness is I was not sure of until now. Now I'm sure Solaris's purpose was to give the life on Mobius the power to defend themselves against Dark Gia, (half of) the Mobius "earth" god of the planet (I use the word earth in terms of the element of rock, hence the quotes). However, much like Gia, Solaris has a dark twin/personality, Mephelis the Mobius god of Darkness and Dispair. Whenever Mephelis assumes total control, Solaris becomes the consumer of realities, the flames of destruction, and this form is known as Iblis. Because Solaris is the partly god of hope, it/he/she can never truly disappear, unless all life in the reality from which it currently occupies were to cease. For much like hope, it can only be given or accumulated but never destroyed.
To help understand why the time portion is rendered insignificant, remember this all to true quote:

Mephiles is the best villian in the sonic series for me. He was able to kill him without wasting too much time talking about how he wants to destroy sonic and in the end getting his ass whooped by sonic . What a cold mf xD Overall I love the game even with all its flaws and glitches. Sonic 06 has entertained me the most out of all the other games. I just like the direction they took for this game. With more time and maybe a few changes, this game would have been loved by more people.
My changes would be the relationship between Sonic and Elise. I'm also not a big fan of this romance thing either sadly but seeing them as innocent friends would be better. For Elise, sonic should have been her first and only friend, someone who shows her the world. But more innocent of course. And at the end, instead of the kiss, maybe Elise could have dropped a tear on sonics face in order to wake up him again with the chaos emeralds.
And maybe give Elise a stronger personality and not be that whiny but that's just a preference.
Other than that, I loved the music, the character interactions and the ideas of the stages . I know Sega has now the power to give this game a chance but sadly they won't do it :(

In my rewrite, they have more of a sibling bond, and Elise uses Chaos Control to resurrect Sonic.

Well, I think Eggman means Mephiles wanted to make Elise cry so that the king would be angry. So he tricked Silver into killing sonic by blaming sonic for the destruction of his world. I think he's evil. Just like Eggman tricked Knuckles into defeating sonic just because they're fighting buddies.
