thats an insane thing to say out loud..."your rights dont overshadow my job"
And he doesn’t even know his “job.”
@@josebrown5961 He knows, they just don't care.
That is because they weren’t trained to know the constitution. That is also because when they raise their hand to take an oath of OFFICE after they put their hand down, they totally forget about what are they supposed to uphold. No police officer knows the constitution the way we do. You have rights. Not privileges. Know your rights completely. They’re very easy to learn. Like a Right To Travel. You do not need a license to travel or registration your vehicle. Or insurance insurance. There are ways of getting insurance without having a license or registration. Also, it stated in the constitution second amendment you have a right in every state to carry a firearm doesn’t matter what type of firearm you can carry a firearm. They are so afraid of us because they in their minds, think that they are the only ones to carry a firearm lawfully illegal and they don’t even know it until you sue them. There are two ways of suing them on their qualified immunity. Knowledge is power.
@@josebrown5961 4 to 6 months in the Academy doesn’t teach them the constitution or the Bill of Rights so they don’t know the law.

Refusing to allow someone to get their insurance & then ticketing them for not showing insurance is mental.
Odd that all the citations where dismissed. Sounds as if someone didn't think they could win this in a court of law, doesn't it?
It's all retaliation..
The man now has to spend the day in Court and the Officer wipes his hands and continues on..
Also he never refused or didn't say he didn't have insurance. He didn't want them in his property AGAIN
In my opinion, the people seeking the badge have some underlying issues causing them to want a position of power. Compensating for something. Low self esteem, small size of manhood, insecurities. Etc..

"Officer safety" doesn't trump civil rights...
Well, it shouldn't but it seems that the "justice" system believes differently. The constitution has been picked apart by law enforcement policies and the court system. Word salad and ambiguous language wtitten in is sufficient in their eyes to cover almost any situation they run up against. It's almost a no win situation no matter how you look at it. It amazes me that more people don't seek retribution, at least in the more extreme cases. I'm thankful that I live in an extremely rural area that is usually free from this type of harassment by "law enforcement".
Three little thugs. The victim handled himself very well, I hope he prevails and justice is served...COLD.
This is the problem with law enforcement. They don’t understand that the Bill of Rights is SPECIFICALLY directed towards the government and that the police are the first line of the executive branch of the government. It’s ridiculous.
Exactly, it sets GOVT limits.
@@JohnDoe-qz1ql I’m telling you right now that police officer does NOT understand the concept that HE IS the government. He views the Constitution, specifically the Bill of Rights, as some entity that exists outside of his purview. He has no concept that our highest laws are specifically directed at HIM as the front line representative of the executive branch of the government. If he read our comments here he would likely call them “conspiracy theory gobbley gook” or something similar. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Exactly, those rights he is "so concerned about" are specifically aimed at this situation exactly.
@@frotobaggins7169 Yes! His comment about “your rights don’t OVERSHADOW MY JOB…” I don’t know about you fine folks but the first thing that came into my head is, “Yes, that’s EXACTLY what our rights do is set legal limits to what you, acting as the government, can legally do. The fact that YOU and most current other law enforcement officers don’t know and understand this concept is the major issue standing between modern law enforcement and their respective communities.” Modern law enforcement has become an out of control beast that is identical to the tyranny we faced as an emerging country under colonial rule. As the wise Colonial Torie, Mather Byles, said, “Which is better - to be ruled by one tyrant three thousand miles away or by three thousand tyrants one mile away?” Well, 250 years later we’ve managed to create the latter due to corruption, propaganda, and weapons development so great only the government can possess and deploy them making the 2nd Amendment moot. Without an armed militia to prevent the government from becoming what it is now in 2024 the Constitution has no real teeth.
This coward should not only be fired, but jailed.
All of them, being dishonest and abusive, absolutely should not be "officers"

He's got at least two cops saying they'd happily shoot him even if he's completely not threatening16:40 , and they wonder why he's making comments and movements in a very calculating and slow way...
And I have to say it. Some yt people on social media say if your calm it goes better. This is an example of how even being calm the cops can still be wrong and nasty.

Why do yo think they off so many people for exercising their rights???
Just arriving to the party
pretty sure the cop just meant that the detainees comfort and rights were not currently taking precedence, considering there was an assault rifle within reaching distance of the suspect.
I hope everyone is contacting this department and flooding their social media and letting them know how pathetic this video makes them look
Yes please do that !!!!!
In the army is there such a thing as a soldier's safety in warfare??
So, their allowed to walk around with guns on their hips, but if a citizen has one they need to remove it to feel safe.
A coward never will take a fair fight
Fearmongering is the primary teaching method in academies. "Anyone can pull a gun on you at any time so we gotta look out only for each other."
The fact is everything the policeman did was against the law. The fact the his superiors backed up the criminal act tells us all of them are just as evil.

Because they're stupid cowards.
The dude is trying to give him the information but he’s too scared. Trying to gaslight the man that it’s too “dangerous” to get his information by himself.
He could have gotten his name, birthdate, and address and skipped the drama with the bag in the back seat. That is IF he had a valid reason to stop the man.
The insurance citation will not stick. He was entirely willing to provide his information, just unwilling to be unlawfully searched.
He's lucky they didn't do a Civil Asset Forfeiture on his cash, gold, AND guns. It's been done before.
This is exactly what they do majority of the time. Absolutely criminals with badges
Don't give them any ideas!
I was worried when he said he had cash they would go that route.
Just like the FBI did in LA when they raided a safety deposit bank? Seized hundreds of thousands of dollars, and some people complained that priceless heirlooms were also stolen.
Sue THEM.
As an Alabamian I’m ashamed of these so called officers. If you’re that scared to do your job find another job somewhere else. I hear McDonald’s is still hiring. Weak people being hired to do grownup jobs.

The amazing irony of a citizen doing a STELLAR, perfect interaction with police, who are doing an absolute TERRIBLE and unlawful job. I particularly loved the "you're agitated" comment from a Copper who was shaking like a shitting dog, talking to a bloke who was as calm as a coma...

I'm a retired LEO and I am more than tired of cowardly cops who think it is okay to order people around and abuse their rights. If they are so afraid of the public, maybe they should find a new job. They always blame the citizen for not complying so they can extend the stop and show their twisted ideas of authority. Officer safety leads to a violation of rights and the courts have ruled for officer safety. Since when does that set aside one's rights?
As an officer what did you ever do to stop police from violating someones rights? There is no way in hell you never saw a partner or another officer do exactly what these clown cops did but im willing to bet you never did anything to intervene and stop it from happening.

The insurance one is easy to fight as he offered to get the information and was not allowed to. The bald tires one is more of an issue. It they truly are low tread, it's legit, but should be a fixit ticket. If they are not, show up for court with the four tires on a handcart with a tread depth gauge and ask for him to measure them in front of the judge and show where there is less than 2/32 of tread. And if he claims that they are not the same tires ask him for the pictures of the offending tires with serial numbers.
However, the bill of sale not being dated is a legit issue. The cop is right in saying that he could easily be over the time period to get it tagged.
I also like how they blame him for having a concealed pistol while totally failing to search him, which should have been obvious if they were so concerned about his arms.
