    I bought the 2024 Sahara and put about a hundred miles a day to and from work. Ride is smooth and quiet compare to my old 2021 jeep wrangler sport. Good video buddy!!

    You can't go wrong with ANY 4xe...but
    imo it depends how much off roading capability you want? I had a Sahara 19' but always wanted more off road capability. The standard options the Rubi's came with, coupled w/ the tax credit was a win/win for my latest Wrangler purchase. Keep in mind as awesome as those glossy black 20's look on the Sahara, I would bet they are a recipe for easy scratching, even just driving around town if you hit a curb or kick the dust up lol.
    I can only speak for myself, but I think a Sahara is a great starter for any new Jeep enthusiast...but eventually you will want to go bigger and explore more!

    The Rubicon fenders are also mounted higher than the Sahara. If you opt for the leather interior on the Rubicon you get leather in the same places as the Sahara.

    I have the Sahara and like it a lot. It’s great for an everyday driver. I had a little buyer remorse because I bought it out of spite on a dealer trade. Long story on a trade in. I should have gone with the Rubicon they dealer traded. So I put a 2.5” lift and new wheels and tires.

    • @1eevahn
      @1eevahn 2 года назад +1

    I know there’s a lot of small details that weren’t discussed, which is fine, but it’s also good to note that the Rubicon fenders sit higher than the Sahara. It’s even noticeable when you have the 4xe’s next to each other. That’s important to note since that’s one of the reasons the Sahara has trouble getting bigger tires. I have a 2021 hydroblue 4xe and have been looking into bigger tires. I’m trying to avoid lifting, but the fenders seem to be the biggest obstacle right now.

    My neighbor sold his 2018 Rubicon 3.6L, and bought a 2022 Ford Bronco Badlands, which I might add was marked up $10,000.00. It turned out to be a "Recall King". had a troublesome transmission and some very obvious quality control problems. Yesterday, he came home with a new 2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe Hardtop in White with Black/Saddle Leather interior. and the power sky roof (awesome option). He told me the crap he went through with Ford initially, the BS with the Dealer changing the selling price after the fact, and the problems he incurred with the Bronco ruined the entire ownership experience. Because of the current financial climate of the country, he did lose several thousand dollars, but he said he learned his lesson. By the way, this is his fourth Wrangler, and should say a lot about the brand. We have a good Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge/RAM dealership in Ventura, California, and that makes a big difference.

    I’d say the Sahara is more for everyday on the road driving. Off road: it goes to the rubicon.
    Depends on the usage. Those fortunate enough to have this as a toy then the choice is obvious. But if you are one to make this your daily drive and compromise in some areas like kid chair in the back etc etc …. Then Sahara it is

      I know that we all (jeep people) make a huge deal about the differences between them. The truth is compared to almost any other suv, the differences between the Sahara and Rubicon seem minimal. I’m going for a fully loaded 4xE Rubicon on lease. It actually optioned out cheaper than a fully loaded Sahara that was $5-6k cheaper. But the residuals on the rubicon where greater for its resale value. So I chose that one. Also based off looks but also if you’re going to have a jeep, might as well have the one that it’s known for. I wanted the Sahara at first but my wife actually talked me into the rubicon. Although I don’t remember her getting into a rubicon test drive. So it could be interesting when it finally shows up. She might change her mind!

How buyers respond when they think and will afraid to buy a used jeep 4Xe which you try to sell it because of the power battery pack last longer or short life..

I agree with you the Sahara seems logically to be the better choice, but Rubicon screams Jeep, and thats what you want for the money. There are plenty of other vehicles much better logically for that money. But a Jeep is a Jeep and feeling cool is worth the price!
