I know that this is an older video, but I was just coming back to it to review again. Regarding the super source issue that you pointed out, the solution that I used was to take one of the two outputs on the atem mini extreme iso and set it to display the super source. I then connected that HDMI out to one of the HDMI Camera inputs. This way, the super source is captured as on of the ISOs. I found this to work well. I in turn, just switch to that camera angle rather than using the super source button on the atem mini extreme iso. Thanks for this quality video. 🙂
i saw that on uyour june 19 weekly livestream, you went into a little more detail on using the speed editor on the atem iso files. that was very helpful.
How do you change the quality in the ATEM software? There is no option to change the quality that will be captured be the SSD. I want to record at 100mb
Hello, Can have the usb connected to the SSD and control from the ATEM Software Via Ethernet from another room? So I can have the ATEM Mini ISO in the Live room and then the only thing I have to do is get an HDMI extension to get to my control room for monitoring?
Thanks for this Petra... Just re-formatted a 1TB SanDisk SSD (we were already using in NTFS format) into exFAT as you suggest but what's the reason for the 128kb - does that improve the performance? Oh, and one other question, is it possible to connect a 2nd SSD with a small hub - without using the 2nd USB which we use to connect to an HP Omen laptop to have the option to also use our vMix software if needed?
I'm obviously missing something but how can I connect up both my SSD for recording and the ATEM software control on my PC since both of these use the same USB port? there is only one on my ATEM mini pro ISO

Francois, I understand. I guess the logic used by BMD is that if you record all camera’s seperately (ISO) and all the assets (eg background gradient) are saved with it you can either built your own or use the one that is available in program out.

It was taken from the Blackmagic documentation. My recommendation is to use those settings as they will result in the best possible outcome. It goes without saying you can try other settings but that isn’t without risk
On Atem mini Iso forums I read several disturbing messages about "hickups"in the recordings. I bought the Atem Mini Pro ISO just a few weeks ago and now I am afraid to use it with ISO recording. Is there a "guarantee-to-record-all" recommandation ( apart from the formatting exFat with clustersize 128kB)?
Tjeu I can’t say I have had issues with my ISO recordings. I do however also record the program out on a hyperdeck too. Just in case. Chances of having the same issue on two device are less. Without the experience I would not be the best person to recommend anything else.

Oh, this is possible but you do need some coding magic to make it work. I’ll save this question for the Q&A stream in a couple of weeks

De size indeed is optimized for video throughput. Why exactly 128kb I however don’t know. Thanks for watching - really cool it brought you benefit
