One thing I really love about this movie is that they never use the “where do I really belong” cliche. Po never once feels like he has to choose between the family he was born into or the family he’s gained since. He’s perfectly happy having both.
He already resolved that conflict in the 2nd movie,.
Actually, him being fine with both is the real cliche. It always end with the character being fine with both, wether they struggle with it or not. It never ends with a character actually choosing one over the other because that is not a happy ending.

Fun Fact: If you take a closer look at all of Kai's Amuelts that he collected, you can find Tai Lung among them. Kai defeated him after Po sent him to the Spirit Realm.
True cuz I saw and other video like a month ago and they said that there was Thai Long's car but not Chen's cry cuz of another reason

So then, how come he didn't summon him with the others? Was it because he was so powerful, even Kai had trouble controlling him?

When you look at how Po defeated Kai this quote at the beginning by Oogway makes total sense. The more Chi Kai got from other Masters the less was left of his own Chi, so at the end when Po gave him his Chi nothing of him was left, what resulted in his death.
This full movie is a master ending to the trilogy

Rumor has it that an entire second trilogy of films is in the works. I’m optimistic for the future of Kung Fu Panda.
I remember reading that. I think they also said that Po and Tigress are also meant to be eventually in a relationship? Not sure but I hope thats true

YES! I kinda hate how people say that this is a horrible movie because it's the weakest in the trilogy. Its an amazing movie, it just isn't as good as the first two, which is understandable, because of how dang perfect they are.

Mr. Ping is one of my favorite characters. He's such a great dad. Also, J.K. Simmons is such a great actor. Always so much fun to hear him.

I just realised that the Kung Fu Panda 1 antagonist Tai Lung got defeated by Kai in the spirit realm, one of the amulets looked exactly like him. That means that Po literally killed him in the first movie. That's quite dark now that i think of it.
No, he sent him to the spirit realm. As a mortal, Tai Lung will eventually pass away, and be a resident instead of the realm instead of a visitor. That's why Kai is a spirit warrior - having been sent there 500 years ago - while Po is still mortal after sending himself to the spirit realm.
He didnt kill him he sent him to the spirit realm because tai lung was a mortal idiot
Also kai only took tai lungs chi after po defeated kai tai lung will be back there in the spirit realm

What's actually kinda cool is that at the end of Po's flashback in the second movie his mom is glowing with a golden aura. A bit of foreshadowing to the ease with which Po learns chi, and also the secret knowledge of pandas.

Apparently kung fu panda was intended to have a few more movies. I had read about that since back to the release of the second movie. It's been a solid trilogy, but I'm open to being blown away for more. If more was intended, I'm sure it'll fit in. i'm excited...just anxious there hasn't been any news about it.
I keep reading about how the series had a contract for 3 movies, and the contract would need to be renewed for the remainder. lmk if anyone's heard anything else.

One thing I love about this is that they had some Chinese animators in China help out in this movie. Amd you can see where the chinese animators took over

I love it when someone can perfectly edit a reaction and include almost every great moment. The Kung Fu Panda trilogy introduced me to this channel. Ever thought about watching Atlantis: The Lost Empire?
Can we take a minute to appreciate Kai’s theme for how good it is? It just fits the badass godlike character he is.
Fun Fact:
The music playing during Kai's introductions, was either a sped up or slower version of "I'm So Sorry" by Imagine Dragons, and is played on chinese instruments.
The only Dreamworks movie, that had a good ending of a trilogy.

Another unpopular opinion I like the first more than the second haha but I do agree the third is the best.
It's ok, I think the 2nd one is the best. I agree the 3rd is a great film too but I feel like it's the weakest out of the three. The 1st had a balance of dark situations and humor. The 2nd one focus more on it's darker situation than it did in it's humor. The 3rd one has more humor than a darker tone. So it really depends on your taste.

It’s How To Train Your Dragon next, absolutely my favorite trilogy of all time! I’m 18, I’ve grown up with those movies, and it is absolutely phenomenal. The animation, the score, the characters, the scale... all of it is absolutely stunning and just phenomenal.
HTTYD is a great franchise but KFP will always be my FAV
With the whole Wuxi Finger Hold sending people to the Spirit Realm, I've always thought it was somewhat of a missed opportunity that we never saw Tai Lung's comeback.
Maybe even as a 'redeemed' character, once Po defeated Kai. Tai Lung was such a badass villain, but he also had motivation that felt very relatable (just wanting to make his father figure proud).
Would have made a very nice callback/wrap up to have him 'join' in some way the Furious.
Dude Me and my family just love all the kung fu panda movies but on the third movie man with that little girl following tigress I was always thinking "WHERE IN THE WORLD IS YOUR MOM OR DAD OR BOTH AND WHY AREN'T THEY KEEPING AN EYE ON YOU" I get she's adorable and all but you do not need to be out here in a literal death battle btu still where in the world is her parents or guardian
Fun fact you when kai is showing the chains with the chi masters you can see tai lung meaning that kai fought him and took his chi.

The more Chi you take forcibly, the less you have.
But the more you give willingly, the more you have.
Po gave, and Kai took. And as Kai took more and more of Po's Chi, he had less and less of his own. But as Po gave more and more of his own, and as everyone gave more and more to him, he became infinite chi. And as Kai kept on trying to take it, he became the opposite... no chi. And no being can exist without chi, so Kai ceased to exist.
Dreamworks said that KFP was planned as a 6 part series, but KFP4 has been put on hold due to being bought by NBCUniversal/Comcast. But not canceled, just shelved for now.
I would personally be happy with just the 3

If you look at Kai’s belt closely, you can see shen and tai lung’s chi was also taken
If you notice his chi chains he has a tai lung one meaning he beat tai lung in the spirit realm and stole his chi aswell

I'm new here and I have to say Kung Fu Panda movie franchise it's one of the strongest movies DreamWorks has ever made if anyone says DreamWorks is bad because there are so attached to Disney I would show them this franchise and they would be hooked into it, DreamWorks knew where they were going in the past but sad that now all the big names are gone, I only hope that DreamWorks makes a new movie that can get us hooked into this Studio again...

This trilogy has so many iconic & ironic scenes & dialogues. I can't express how much I love them!!! DreamWorks has made a wonderful job by giving such beautiful movies.
Kai is honestly the most badass. Shen had to rely on his brains as his kung fu was relatively weak compared to strong masters. Tai Lung was weak in terms of brain power due to lack of unfamiliar situations and used brute strength mainly. Kai was damn intelligent and incredibly strong. If he wasn't killed, he would have destroyed Po.
