In the first Kung Fu Panda, Po sent Tai Lung to the spirit realm and I’m assuming Sheng died and didnt go to the spirit realm, but Kai himself said he captured every single master from the Spirit Realm, including Tai Lung himself meaning they all fought. If there’s a side series showing all of them and how they dealt with him and what they did would be pretty dope
If you look carefully at the Chi Amulets on his belt, you’ll see that he had stolen the Chi of what appears to be Tai Lung, or at the very least, a snow leopard.

Excellent Don, this movie was a riot, the rivalry or whatever between Mr Ping and Li Shan, and the pandas in the village just being a riot, i don’t think Kai was as good of a antagonist as Shen but he wasn’t too bad and he was hilarious at times and still evil and menacing at others, all in all, this was a good movie too, never a bad kfp movie

Oogway being a warlord ain’t really a theory it’s basically confirmed in Kai’s backstory although it ain’t explicitly stated
