  • Learn 3 techniques to no longer be shy or awkward. Stop letting shyness prevent you from realizing your full potential.
Everyone has a lot of potential, but shyness can act as a barrier. Realize your full potential by learning how to knock down the shyness barrier.
When I was younger, I was also shy. I've had to learn how to get over my shyness. I work as a program manager at Microsoft and I can't be shy in my job. I work with partners and I have to sell ideas. My paycheck relies on not being shy. The techniques that I share in this video helped me overcome my shyness.
Some people in life are just naturals, others are more shy and introverted. It's just a different personality. Even if you're an introvert, the good news is that you can learn how to overcome your shyness and be more confident and outgoing.
    The 3 techniques include:
    1. Practice makes perfect.
    2. Speak in a louder voice.
    3. Get through the first 10 to 20 seconds by having a canned opener.
I hope you enjoy this new format. Let me know what you think in the comments!

Thanks for the tips Kevin! I was in Toastmasters for several years and it really helped me. I took the Dale Carnegie course as well, which got me started with speaking and I did Toastmasters afterward. I like the volume tip because I tend to speak too softly.

hey! the single most valuable thing you can do is to join a toast masters group. It'll force you out of your comfort zone, but you'll be amazed at how it can help you no longer be shy. Becoming confident is just like a muscle... the more you practice it, the stronger it'll become. Let me know how it goes!

Hey everyone! I’m currently trying to find out how one could make the lives of people who feel shy a lot easier :)
Which is why I have two very simple questions:
    1. As a person with shyness, what are the 2 biggest issues you’re dealing with?
    2. Regarding being shy, what would you wish for more than anything else?
Thanks so much in advance. As I’m aware this can be sensitive information, please feel free to DM me as well. Looking forward to reading your answers!

The alternate side camera view that it occasionally shifts just feels out of place and unnecessary
