Chris Poland former guitarist for jazz bands Welkin and The New Yorkers rose to fame when he joined an unknown band named Megadeth. Along with his friend and fellow jazz drummer, Gar Samuelson, Chris Poland laid a new foundation for guitar Gods to follow as he chased the sun.

Try this out. He was in a band called The New Yorkers - they were from upstate New York, Dunkirk maybe - and Chris and Gar played together in this band. I've seen maybe two tracks out there but I'm sure if you looked around more then you'd find more like this.

I was able to see Chris play with his band OHM. Absolutely incredible! He was hanging out after the show and was more than happy to chat. When he would talk about the music you could just see the love and excitement.
But it did make me want to burn my guitars.
