Did you apply that backing paper on the Oracal that you peel off (at the 9:30 mark) Or, is it already on the oracal and you peel both sides?

How do I get the adhesive off?

I tried it on a white painted wooden sign I'm making but the film seems to have left a sticky residue. What solvent would you recommend for the adhesive left on my nicely painted sign? I guess the paint I used has the same solvent as the film. Now I have a sticky mess and don't know what to do.
