I wish this had been available when I got my first US Cutter in 2020. Great overview. We used 631 on an outdoor sign for the dates so we could update it each year. I was paranoid the letters would fall off but it survived a summer and snowy winter in Iowa and was fully intact. Love the stuff!
I put a vinyl sticker on my friends boat prop and it stuck there for about 10 hours of being submerged and running up to 4900 RPM... It is still on the prop after 13 hours and is tearing..... KUDOS to ORACOL, and of course USCUTTER!!!!!
I don’t understand why this isn’t working for me. I have Oracal 651. I transferred it to my transfer tape, cleaned my surface, and tried to apply it to a window. For some reason it will not release from the transfer tape no matter how long I squeegie it for. I tried on multiple surfaces and had the same issue. Am I using an jnferior transfer tape?? I need help ASAP
Hello, I was wondering if you offer a video for tips on how to layer Oracal 631?? I was surfing through your channel for help but didn't see a specific video related to that material (I saw a clip in this video that shows you do is easily) and I've been having trouble layering as for the transfer tape is rasing all the layers when I don't want it to... Thanks if you see this...!
Please answer me this, which type of vinyl can you use to put you own design it to print and put on a car window but can remove it whenever you need to .
Most outdoor vinyl used for cars uses a stronger long lasting adhesive. You could try using an indoor vinyl but how many times it could be reapplied would really depend on how well you kept the adhesive clean.
Yes it has a durable solvent adhesive on it and is guaranteed for 6 years outdoors. It is still a calendared vinyl so it will start to peel and crack after that time so people tend to use the Oracal 751 or 951 for longer lasting decals that won't do that.
@@ericafreemanbrowning3014 Thank you for this helpful reply :) Typing in a number would have been less work for you, and more helpful for me. Obviously I can’t understand simple videos. :)
Well.done! Straight to the points no bull in between!!! Thank you🙏
The most informative video I found! Thanks.

What type of vinyl did you use? Did you do a wet or dry application to apply the decal? How long did you let the decal sit after application?
Is Oracle 651 recommended for making brake caliper decals, if not what is?

Can you wet apply the 651?
Can you use a solution on the surface for easier alignment before applying the 651 and then squeegee it out?
Yes, wet application can be done with this, you just want to use a paper transfer tape for that.
What if I want to print a full color outdoor window decal which material is best?
That depends on what type of ink your printer is using. They have different media for the different types of ink.
Thank you sooo much
Which would be better to use on a cnc? To carve into with a V bit in particular.
631 has the removable adhesive so it would be the better option. Oramask 813 is also a good choice for CNC.
Good day. I would like to know if you can remove a name or watermark with Vinyle Master DSR?? If you can, can you make a "how to video". Thank you.
Yes and No. It would really depend on how transparent the watermark is.
@@uscuttervideos can you a make a video on how. much would appreciate it. or do yo have one already. If so can I get link. Much appreciate it.
The 651 is rated for use on aircraft??
