    You want some advice? Show more enthusiasm. I mean no disrespect, and your build is amazing, but I literally kept closing my eyes. Just a heads up for future videos. :D

    Thinking about doing something similar with freshwater in my basement. Any problems with water, humidity, etc from the evaporation?

    • @soundmanreeftank
      @soundmanreeftank  7 лет назад

      no i have had no problems but we are from not, Canada and it gets quite dry through the winter months anyways so it actualy helps this time of year.
      and in the summer we run air conditioning anyways so that helps pull any mosture out of the air at that time.

      Bob Rasmussen it stays humid in the summer here. Might just build a plywood tank instead and keep it covered with a dehumidifier when needed. thanks for the response!

    You should add a small shark, like an Eppaulette or some sort of Catshark

    I keep monitor lizards but fish have always been an interest of mine. This is even better than a standard tank but i'd do this for cichlids as they are my preferrence.

    Hi just wondering is it safe to use pond liner for corals? Thanks

    Too much hardware to keep marine fish but what an awsome thing to have in your home.

    Amazing budget build, always good to start a design for the whole room. Look into outdoor coral aquariums. Th ey look fun .

    how many gallons is this? or aproximate dimensions/cubic feet? Approximate startup cost and monthly electricity/instant oceon cost? also, do flow rates, lr/sand, lighting, and water change schedules/ rules of thumb still apply? Or is it so large that water changes aren't needed or are rare? i want to build something like this once i move into my new house.

      It is roughly 400 g with a 90g display tank and a 65g sump, maybe $300 to build the lagoon, i already had the sump and display tank.up and running.so no reel added cost for running larger volume of water. I use bio pellets to controle my Nitates so i do not do regular water changes. i am adding a frag tank next month ,so watch for that update Video.

      There was no issue with the liner. But we did move years ago and I had to sell it all off
