"You can call it almost professional!" - This is much much better than any commercial or public aquarium I've ever seen. And the aquariums that business pay to have set up in their waiting rooms look nothing like this (because it's way too expensive to keep calling someone out every time something starts looking iffy...)

Love reef tanks. The level of patience, dedication, care and skill to maintain a healthy and thriving reef system is off the charts. I've read many books, spoken with legends like Bob Fenner, studied currents, uv lighting, etc. and still had difficulty. I went reef after about 10 years of salt water and it was the most rewarding time ever in this hobby.
Exactly, I had a 300 gallon reef tank from the guy that I bought my coral and fish from. He could have given it to me and made money because of everything I purchased from him to fill it. An arsonist burnt my house and everything died. September 29, 1999. I brought some of the rock back to life in 2 smaller tanks that I have.
The quick red fish that perches up on the coral with its fins was my favorite.. His tanks are fantastic all around, beautiful corals. Thank you for showing ppl
You know I love seeing different koi pond but you have to give this guy some credit for not only having a Koi pond but having two saltwater tanks. He has an incredible set up. The only thing I wish is to see it at night because the tank changes. I never had a salt water tank but this kind of makes me want one.
Absolutely beautiful system Lars has. You can tell he really enjoys reefing much like the rest of us. I have been in reefing 30 years and currently have a full Acropora coral system, which is most of what Lars has. Nothing simple about these type of aquariums as the water chemistry, lighting, and basically everything has to be perfect. One interesting piece of info, the larger system you go with, the easier it is to maintain. I say maintain, but I don't mean that from a maintenance standpoint. I mean that from a system stability standpoint. It's easier to keep water parameters like they need to be with more water volume. A smaller system might change rapidly and you have to react quickly to make sure that doesn't happen. A larger system won't experience super fast changes which is very good. Lars has done an incredible job and it's a pleasure to see he did things the correct way. Far too often people start reefing on a budget and I totally understand that. I can tell you that unless you have a very large income or bank account, save yourself the headache. It takes resources to run these the right way. Thanks for the video, really amazing coverage and my first time seeing Lars's tank.
Wow, I felt like I was in the Caribbean Sea, swimming with the fish. Loved this video! So knowledgeable. One of the best,if not the best aquariums with so many different fish Corals, I love it! Stay safe, stay blessed, continue doing what you’re doing, great hobby!
We can't afford to buy. but Thank you for letting us all witness such an amazing beauty! The fishes looks very happy they feel home safe and they have food. They want to be on camera.
This is like a $20k+ tank! The corals alone probably cost as much as the rest of the set up combined (or maybe my local prices are just absurd). Super beautiful though. Salt water is in a whole different difficulty scale for aquarists.
Oh no no, lol. You're looking at more like 60k plus. That's a low estimate. I have a Red Sea Reefer XL 300 G2 which is 80 gallons and it is a full Acropora SPS system and I have at least 20k in it.
Wow 😲😮 didn’t know you were into Reef keeping as well as Koi, this tank is spectacular, full from side to side and back to front with colourful and healthy corals, great 👍 video and very much appreciated, love the choice of fish. More like this now and again would be certainly appreciated. 👍🏴
This is going to be EPIC! 🙌🔥
Thanks Danny! ✌️
yes of course, look amazing

The colors amazes me. Unbelievbly beautiful.

Hi Blake, Lars is a very nice guy who worked hard to enjoy some very nice hobbies. I hope we have more of these people around because we need them 😃
