Did a 4 hour livestream my first night back in Shanghai, China. Recently had time to cut it down to 50 minutes for those of you who didn't have time to watch the whole thing. Will drop a cutdown of my second IRL livestream in China next Monday. I plan on doing a lot more of these IRL streams in the future. Enjoy!

23:00 I've been living in Guangzhou China for 17 years. And at this point when he is talking about the outside barbecues… I remember those well. During the early parts around 2008 through 2014 no matter where you went on the streets there was always street vendors. Especially back in the villages. You could go in the back and get a bowl of fried noodles with vegetables for less than one US dollar. My favorite was this lady that I called "the egg lady" she would have a little pushcart grill and she would grill a fried egg wrap it in a small flower wrap… Very thin... and then have some sort of sauce on it. They were about $.15 each. They were delicious. Of course, when the police would come around, they would all scatter. In the middle of intersections... like a roundabout… There would be vendors grilling all kinds of things. People sitting down and eating. But sadly, those days have come and gone. I mean some of the tasty stuff was "meat" on a stick. God only knows what that meat was. Those days were really cool.
Similar thing happened in Thailand around the same time tho, they have been starting to make a comeback but no where near what it used to be like. I missed those days too, but the times are changing.
I am moving to guangzhou in a month, any advice?
@@JohnSmith-sc4ct well, i can't give you an advice cause I don't know why you're coming here. Are you coming here to teach English or are you coming here for business? GZ is a cool city. Lots of things to do. It's been lacking recently on some of the western bars and nightlife. First thing you have to do is get yourself the WeChat account. That's what everybody uses here. We use that to pay for everything. Cash is pretty much nonexistent.
