- In this video we depart our Superstition Mountain camp. Moving on to some public land located in Pima County, Arizona. I find a nice camp out in the boonies. No cell service out here. Nice to enjoy some solitude and peaceful quiet surroundings.

*My name is Brian. I started living full time in a self built camper van in 2014 in my hometown of San Diego, CA. I hit the road full-time in 2015 to pursue seasonal work and travel around the U.S. I find free camping on public land and enjoy photography, hiking, biking, and kayaking in nature. Love em as long as you can. We just lost our sweet Little Dee Dee a couple of days ago, she was a 12 year old English Bulldog that we rescued when she was 3 years old. She could be a real pain in the butt but I sure do miss that dog.

Handsome Hobbs! It IS challenging to travel with a dog. Mine likes anyone and everyone, but people who let their dogs run loose create a big problem for us. Adventure on!

Beautiful scenery, the west has more beautiful sunsets/rises than Florida.
I'll be back on the road again in a couple months, helping my family, painting etc. Mom just turned 92, I wanted to spend some quality time with her and my sister and brother in law. And I've been freshening the van, so dusty from the desert and off road driving.

Wow! What a beautiful camp site. Hobbs is looking great. When he trots out in front of you and doesn't really pull on the leash, you can know that he is very comfortable with his surroundings and with you. He's in a very happy place when he does that. Learn to read your dog and he will speak to you.

What a gorgeous campsite. It looks like many of the desert plants, including my favorites the Ocatillo, are getting ready to bloom. Love the green grass in the desert! Isn't it wonderful what nature does when we just leave it alone? Nice addition with the shelf too Brian. Give Hobbs a hug from me.

I recommend you finish your project with lacquer. Lacquer dries almost as fast as it's applied. Polyurethane is a PITA and is just a dust magnet while it dries.

At some point you need to find a brown rain forest to compliment this green desert camp. :) Love the look of the dark clouds over the hills plus the green plants. For that matter love the sun plus clouds views as well. Ok ok, I just like clouds moving around the sky :)
Hobbs is very lucky to have you and Kelly around for his retirement life. Happy trails (I have motorcycle envy. Puttering around on a motorcycle is a fun way to see things).

@2:08. why do you have that blue hand thing on your cabinet? i know it does not mean hang loose, thats with thumb and pinky extended. alot of rock n rollers throw that up as the sign of the devil. tell what it means to you, brian, or anyone else commenting. i`m not hating on you, far from it, just curious as to it`s significance to you...
I've never heard about the sign of the devil. That is a sticker from a guitar effects pedal company. Generally a sign for 'keep on rockin' in the free world'.

The Ajo area has plenty of air patrol assistance from the military base. When I was there last winter the border patrol was driving by on the dirt roads at least once an hour or more.
Hi Brian. Great video as always. I hope you don't mind me asking this question. I remember a few years ago. You were talking about a guy who got nasty with you because he did not like you revealing campsite locations to people. Other than that have you ever been attacked, threatened, or messed with by anyone while out there in the wilds?
No. The story of that guy was actually in the city. He lives on the streets and didn't like vans parked where he sets up his tent.
