*My name is Brian. I started living full time in a self built camper van in 2014 in my hometown of San Diego, CA. I hit the road full-time in 2015 to pursue seasonal work and travel around the U.S. I find free camping on public land and enjoy photography, hiking, biking, and kayaking in nature. Brain, thank you for reminding viewers of the importance of having a fire extinguisher on board. This is so important that all RV’s are equipped with a fire extinguisher from the RV manufacturer. Even a smart idea for tent campers and anyone with a campfire or barbecue grill.

Understandable that Kelly needed some "alone time ". . All special occasions in the first year of grief are incrediably difficult. A good parent is that safe harbor we all want , and need, When you lose it you feel adrift with out an anchor..some days are better than others, but then there are times you feel underwater. I know because it's a path I ,too, have traveled. I really admire Kelly and I KNOW she will work through it ; with space ,time, support and and your help . You are an incredibly sensitive and caring person. I wish you both beautiful, new beginnings ; and exciting adventures in this upcoming year. ❤😊❤ Old Granny here 🫠

I’ve always kept a fire extinguisher in my rigs since I was a teen and had a carb fire in the 90s.
Just happens to randomly have one with me that day. Saved my car from complete destruction.
Learned a valuable lesson.

Good morning from Godley Texas, weather can change quickly in the desert. Definitely an unusual cloud formation, glad you were able to capture it on the camera. Happy you were able to spend time with the family 😊 Pleased to see the transmission was an easy fix. Nice shower tent, but agree with your assessment on stake down points. Fogbow!!!...it's a fogbow, as opposed to a rainbow. They form the same way as rainbows, but the water droplets in fog are much much smaller than water droplets in a rain cloud, so there is much less diffraction of white light into its constituent colors, the colors still mostly overlap each other, maintaining the white color that is reflected back to your eye.
