@@FatMatAdventures thanks for watching! Just a heads up on a bike, the crossing over the James River (the long one) was covered in algae and very slippery!
Excellent video! I'm really curious to see your tracks from this as we must have crossed paths at some point. Great work! Your content is very entertaining!
We definitely ran roads you’re probably familiar with. We left Fredericksburg on Crabapple Road, following the onX route northwest. We passed the Dos Rios campground right after the James River water crossing. The route also loops all the way to Junction, but we didn’t have time for that. It’s probably a 3 day trip if you do it all.
@@LunaticConcepts there were a lot of great places to camp right on the river, we just happened to get there late in the day and got the last private spot. The lady at check in said they were super busy because it was the last weekend they’re open before shutting down for deer season. I would definitely go back
@RamCruiserOverland My wife and I are impatiently waiting for them to open back up and go back! The epitome of a hidden gem. We got there by accident. We were planning on going to the other park near there, but they were full.
@@bristi1622 it’s a fun trip, and we didn’t do all of it. Really you probably need 3 days to see it all. Just figure out camping arrangements beforehand! There’s lots of river resorts and parks in the region.
Great video 🍻
Enjoyed the scenery and the music. Thanks for posting 👍
My husband and I love that place!! Especially in fall and early spring!!
Great video, thanks for sharing! I'll be headed that way soon on my adventure bike!

@@RamCruiserOverland Thanks for the info! I'll have to figure that one out for sure. Slippery rock/road and 2 wheels don't go together well lol!
Great video! After seeing your video I have now planned to check it out.

I liked this one. Thanks for introducing Sandy.

Geat landscapes!
BTW, you're hilarious, and I love it lol
That place is my absolute favorite place to camp, especially being so close to home. We pulled up right on the river at the first turn off
