I love the views you got from Reddish Knob!! 😍🤩👏 I went to Bridgewater College and spent a lot of time up there either on my own or with a class. It's been a long time though and your views were spectacular. Thank you for that! 💜
What an amazing trip. That area of Virginia has some of the most beautiful mountain vistas east of the rockies. I envy you that you at the age you are and you can set aside life for a while and take a journey like that. I'm hoping as soon as mid to late October comes to take a similar trip in my 4Runner. I am not in good health and this may be one of the last chances I have to do this, Lord willing. I love getting away by myself to spend some time with just the LORD and me and some awesome time in prayer and his word. May our Father in Heaven richly bless you and prosper what you're doing. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Awesome video and great cinematography! New fan here. What's your filming set up? I'm looking to upgrade some point soon so would love any recommendations you have. Your style is 💯💯💯
I really appreciated your overview of your sleep setup. I just finished making a leveling platform for the back of my 4R. I’m excited to try it out. I think I’ll use the same layer setup you did. Thanks! Oh, and great views and trip.
Like always, very impressed! Would like to see what you do for your pre trip vehicle maintenance. I’m no mechanic but definitely something that I’d like to learn myself to be able to take trips outside of NC!
My son and I did this exact route from Flagpole down Dunkle Hollow Rd to Switzer Lake last week, and you're right about the upper half of that trail. Much more interesting than you hear with the washouts and off camber spots. Definitely more than a level 2. Did you get to Reddish Knob while you were up there? Just a parking lot at the top, but has the best views. We found a great camp spot at the bottom of the trail for that night.
If you were to pick a few of your personal favorite trails in “West Virginia” what would they be? I live in the Shenandoah Valley and want to explore into West Virginia more.
welcome to Virginia, glad you decide to explore here! there is so many hidden camp spots you would not believe.
Virginia is an awesome state to explore. Its so cool having all this right in our backyard
Yeah very fortunate, that’s for sure!
Love the filmmaking man, the shots and color grade are beautiful!
Means a ton, thanks for watching!

Just wanted to say this is your first video I’ve seen. Good work man. New Sub.
I suggest shaking out your boots in the morning. All kinds of critters could take refuge in them over night.
Very smart! I had them pulled inside overnight so they didn’t get dew on them

Flag Pole Knob is a favorite...not too long ago you had a great view, but the trees have grown up and limit it a bit.
Yeah, definitely wish there was more of a view but it was still cool!

Very cool video. Your driving shots are great. When you drove down did you pass the lake or take union springs? Lake has some amazing views too
Nice bro
What offroad map are u using?
I use OnX Offroad for trails and Gaia for trip planning/tracking
@OutboundIntent thanks bro 🙏
How do you find campsites 🏕️ along the way. Nice video and FJ
Pancakes, sausage and syrup......My Man.....
Breakfast of champions 💪🏼

Where in Pa are you from bro? Harrisburg here.
Not too far from there!
Altoona here, love seeing different places to go in our area. Inspiration to get my Land Rover back together.
Would you be able to share the location of this forest?
Flagpole Knob?
Nailed it 👊🏼
Bro, where'd you get those breakfast sausages?
From the store haha
@@OutboundIntent😂😂😂
Can you share the route you took or trails? I would love to take my FJ up there.
This is Reddish Knob and Flagpole knob. I just ran the same trails last weekend! It's fantastic.
The term overlanding makes no sense to me. If I drive to a campsite and then back home, is that overlanding?
That’s called car camping
