It doesn’t really switch. It only opens and closes different sections. Think about it as your house nothing changes except different doors open and shut. Like one day the door to your bathroom might be open then the next day the door to the kitchen is open. Hope that helps!

Communist Teletubby To be honest his sarcasm in the books was so funny and hilarious 😆 compared to the movie the sarcasm was minuscule which kind of pissed me off... the movie is great don’t get me wrong but I wish there was more sarcasm from him.
Well, Minho is an expert in the maze. Thomas is only similar in speed, so he'll keep up. You don't exactly keep the same distance with someone else, especially if they're a guide in a place you aren't familiar with.
I wish we got to see more of the Maze, and more running. This was the only scene where Thomas ran as a Maze Runner, I think the others were just because he was in it and had to run.

My only thoughts of this franchise. Who in the fuck has time to build giant elaborate mases during a pandemic? That only test kids and their immunity. Not one made but several? The kind of resources and time that would take is un imaginable
In the book there are only two mazes (still a lot though). Something about putting them in extreme environments to analyze their brain pattern. But they can achieve it more efficiently by using that method from the movie using simulation (and WICKED would be capable to if they're able to make these complicated mess). It is a very interesting concept though.

@Aakash Shah My best guess is that the immune produce an enzyme or protein when exposed to large amounts of stress and fear which they believe they can use to make a cure. The maze was just their way of going about exposing them to the level of fear required while also teaching them survival skills if WCKD failed to make a cure and they were the last of humanity.
I feel _The Maze Runner_ was one of the better YA Novel adaptations - but then they made absolutely dreadful sequels... Not ashamed to say I enjoy the first movie, but absolutely dislike the others
