if they make a kill order movie i would probably rage and throw something at the screen when they make the revelation about how the flare disease came to be
my personal opinion. the scorch trials movie doesn't live up to the book. the endings were totally different and there was just some stuff missing, the movie is still amazing but it wasn't following the book in parts where I thought they would have had in the movie, but oh well. I hope they make the 4th and 5th books into movies, cause i'd like to see how they do those ones, especally the 4th book. i know some things in books won't work in movies so that's probably why
I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels this way and I really wish they could’ve overlooked “the big screen” and just made a faithful adaptation the way it goes in the book, look at The Lord of the Rings, they changed nothing about the main plot and were still very successful why not do the same

It is hard for me to enjoy the movies since the books were too much different. So many things went differently. Thomas and Teresa could speak telepathy, I know it is hard to but in the movie but it is a pretty big thing to leave out. Watching this there was this bodies hanging scene. Absolutely stupid IMO. It was taken from the first book ending where they were saved by some guys, taken to a safe place, give food and clothes. The next morning there is a zombie attack and they run to a dark room. when they walk there are things that they hit with their heads they don't understand what it is since it is dark. Then someone finds a light switch and all the same people that saved them have hung themselves. That part was done to make the character react since the cure would have come from a brain blueprint that has experienced a lot of trauma and stress. But in the movies, it's just a bunch of kids hanging and having some fluid taken from them in a laboratory, like some kind of conspiracy. Totally different thing. For those who liked the movies, I would urge you to read the books. Before reading the maze runner books I was not a big fan of reading, but the first maze runner book literally kept me up at night, it was my first experience with "I could not put the book down".

I prefer books to movies in general tbh, bc they don't always have to have big dramatic scenes. And I love that tbh.
