Minho is a beast, he ran for 3 years with others inside the maze, meanwhile mentally mapping every place he went and then proceeded to build a realistic 3d map of it out of basic materials.
I love how Thomas and Minho have different running styles. Thomas's arms are flailing about and he is making more unnecessary movements while Minho being the more experienced runner has more refined movements and good posture and his head barely moves. (It's more noticeable in this part 1:49)
Hmmm maybe, I mean, it could also be possible to prepare them for the maze w.c.k.d had them grow up with physical training which could explain why everyone in this series is in good shape, even chuck. Literally run that whole maze at the end with the others without falling behind, so yea.

iSkrolls The books are so much better than the movies, the movies cut so much of the book, it feels as if the movie doesn't caption what the books gave us. One scene in the books talks about how Thomas couldn't leave someone (can't remember who) behind, while Minho runs for it, because they get stuck in the maze @ night when all the doors close, and Thomas had to drag (forgot his name) up the vines so that the monsters couldn't get 'em. Pretty intense scene, in other words, read the damn books
_G0Z4 I’m mean, movie adaptions for books are extremely hard to recreate the feel and it’s something that requires immense time and money to do. No matter how much goes into it, the movies will always fall short because it’s your imagination spiraling as you read rather than images and scenes of what it actually look like being fed to you. Still a great movie and series all in all.
This kinda motivates me to run and compete in my sports events of sprinting.. and the moment I Sprint I'll think of this scene as if something is closing or chasing me which doesn't make me think at all when I'm on the track competing with others... And thankfully I got 1st or 2nd placing... Am I the only one whose like this? Haha
It’s amazing how in this giant mechanical maze everything functions the way it’s supposed to consistently. With the sheer amount of moving parts you’d have to have a team of 100 people working round the clock on maintenance. Not to mention all the masonry work that would need to be done.
yes lets compare a world where theirs a scorch that killed 99% of the population, zombies that are athletically bloodthirsty monsters, and a fucked up organization that sacrifices kids to have a chance of finding a cure to our world where we have a virus that has a 0.2% mortality rate, and a 97-99% full recovery rate.
I always thought that at this moment, everyone in the maze could have gottten out if there were enough people to rescue without anyone dying in the process and then what we see next is the maze just openning to clean up anyone left inside, possibly to prepare it for another group of people.
I feel that Maze Runner was based on the Mario games. Remember the obstacles and traps, not to mentioned the creatures you have to bypass while playing the game?
