    Bought my 05 Inferno Red R/T used in 2012. The 5.7 is still cherry and has been well maintained. In the process of restoring it to use as a summer weekend cruiser. Great touring vehicle. Keep the transmission serviced and don't let it sit. I learned the hard way and had to replace it. $$$$.

    I had one of those 15 years ago. Meaty quick car.. Beautifull, uniique sillouette. It is just huge. Haters said it looks like a hearse. But a roaring neat handling one. Cheap plastic nterior is the only very big downside IMO

    I also have a 2006 magnum R/T and having it for a few years honestly man I’d just change the whole front suspension. Makes your life easier knowing that everything is new under the car

    • @LegitnessStudios
      @LegitnessStudios  Год назад

      Yeah I changed out a lot of it before it got totaled. After looking at the forms and talking to mopar guys it’s very common for the front suspension to all take a dive on these

    These car's are good little entry level modern hot rods a lot of the later years charger and challenger stuff bolt's on if you really want to face lift it a 2019 charger swap is possible with some cutting and welding and blending of the parts

    Kept looking for a decent R/T they all have horrible problems, found a clean STX eventually. Didn't mind the 3.5 making a lot of trips anyway. But yeah used R/T magnums require lil work.

    Clunk is common. Check sway bar bushings and lower control arm. Had an 05 RT. LX forums very common. Have an 06 SRT so far haven't done anything with that one yet it hasn't clunked yet. Fingers crossed

    • @LegitnessStudios
      @LegitnessStudios  Год назад

      Yep that ended up being the problem with mine that’s awesome that you have an SRT I want one badly now that I’ve had an RT

    • @sameh2150
      @sameh2150 Год назад

      @@LegitnessStudios NA is the way to go, they will outlast the SRT but get rid of MDS though this will ruin the engine.

      That sounds awesome I’m looking to get another one here shortly the one in that video has since been totaled. Some lady in a truck turned right into me, said she didn’t see me because my car was too low and her truck was lifted

      Why would you waste your time and money for 50 cc more & maybe a 45-50 hp gain? I've seen 5.7 with both precision turbo setup, and procharger, pretty much do gen 1 Hellcat #s

    Lu...cky! I picked up an '05 Magnum with a nice 300 front clip swap for $2600, but it has the V-6. My plan is an electric swap with the motor and 3/4 of the batts in the back, and the other batteries and a sweet 6th Order BP in the front engine bay, ports firing thru the "firewall" lol. Yup!
