    VW Taos 2022 lineup:
    S
    The Taos S starts at $22,995 MSRP in front-wheel drive and $25,040 for 4Motion AWD. It features standard 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels; LED headlights, Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), and taillights; push-button start; MIB infotainment with a 6.5-inch touchscreen and four-speaker sound system; Bluetooth® connectivity for compatible devices; two USB-C ports; automatic headlights; cloth seating; Volkswagen Digital Cockpit with 8-inch display; Car-Net with Wi-Fi capability (requires subscription); roof rails and side mirrors in black; and a rearview camera. All-wheel-drive models add heated front seats, heated side mirrors and heated windshield washer nozzles. Two options packages are available: The IQ.DRIVE S package costs $995 and includes Forward Collision Warning with Autonomous Braking (Front Assist), Active Blind Spot Monitor, Lane Keeping System (Lane Assist), Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Travel Assist, and Emergency Assist. The S Convenience Package is included with the IQ.DRIVE S package and includes High Beam Control (Light Assist), rain-sensing wipers, a heated leatherette-wrapped steering wheel, and leather-trimmed shifter.
    SE
    Building from the S trim, the Taos SE starts at $27,245 for FWD, and $28,695 for 4Motion. Standard features include: 18-inch machined wheels; Forward Collision Warning with Autonomous Braking (Front Assist); Blind Spot Monitor; 8-inch MIB3 infotainment with voice control and six-speaker sound system; wireless phone charging and wireless App-Connect for compatible devices; three USB-C ports; SiriusXM® satellite radio (three-month trial); combination leatherette and cloth seating; 8-way driver power seat with lumbar support; heated front seats; heated washer nozzles; multifunction steering wheel wrapped in leatherette; KESSY keyless access; remote start; privacy glass; silver roof rails; and body-colored heated side mirrors.
    The SE can be optioned with four available trim packages. The panoramic sunroof is $1,200 MSRP and 18-inch black wheels are $395. The $895 IQ.DRIVE SE package includes Lane Keeping System (Lane Assist), Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Travel Assist, and Emergency Assist. The SE Convenience package is included with the IQ.DRIVE SE package and includes High Beam Control (Light Assist) rain-sensing wipers and a heated leatherette steering wheel.
    SEL
    The top-of-the-line SEL models are priced at $31, 490 for FWD or $33,045 for 4Motion. Building from the SE trim, standard features include: 18-inch black wheels on FWD models and 19-inch machined wheels on AWD models; LED headlights with the Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS); an illuminated grille; MIB3 infotainment system with navigation; Volkswagen Digital Cockpit Pro with 10.25-inch display; leather seating surfaces; ventilated front seats (AWD models only); BeatsAudio® 8-speaker premium sound system; 10-color ambient lighting; dual-zone Climatronic climate controls; auto-dimming rearview mirror; rain-sensing wipers; and heated leatherette-wrapped steering wheel. IQ.DRIVE comes standard, as does High Beam Control (Light Assist); and Dynamic Road Sign Display. The panoramic sunroof package ($1,200) is also available.
    The Taos is expected to reach U.S. dealers in June.
