The game came out early last year and the reception was mixed. But they have been continuesly updating the title and that's why I wanted to give it a chance. It's not the type of game for me but i know there is an audience out there for this type of game so it deserves some attention.

Where did you get the info theres been new weapons, mussions and enemy types added? I have the update and have seen nothing of a sort. As far as i know it just downgraded the difficulty and had other small soft patches. Please clarify.
To my knowledge, no new weapon, sure, but a total rebalancing of those available making them feel and act very different. All leading to a better implementation of ranged weapons the core gameplay.
For exemple, ranged weapons are more powerful, precise and more important : now you can cut/destroy limbs by shooting them. It therefore leads to executions(finishing strikes) which changes how you use them.
Even the handgun(wich is more of a combo, counter and stun tool) has been modified to be way more versatile and efficient, as it stuns twice more!
Pretty sure it also has a revisited skill tree with more skills to unlock and different "pricing".
There were three updates since december actually, from 1.11 to 1.13.
They brought rebalancing, AI behaviour change, quality of life enhancements, bug fixes,etc.
For me it went from messy greatness to greatness with some shenanigans... Not up to the best Team Ninja can do(Ninja Gaiden 1/2 keep the crown) but man this game rocks !

Tried the game yesterday i like it but too hard on normal mode still.
I could go up to the second ninja in the first level and its too fast and hits too hard.
Too bad you have to killl all these guys again to get to him and die again....
