what was wrong with the 3?

@GameJoyExplained idk, it's hard to put my finger on exactly what my issue was exactly but it just felt off and didn't have the same spark as the others.

​@@Things_I_wish_I_knew I agree. I can't remember exactly why I didn't like 3 as much as 1 and 2, but probably many minor things adding up... I think I feel less powerful in 3 and the traps are less deadly.

Yes i get thet feeling :D It's why i always bring the auto balista's brimstone poison plants and tar. Trying some new combinations now to. But that combination tends to help me with those freaking sappers. Also feels like that if you play alone you kind of have to bring the balista's cause you can't be everywhere at once.

It's two reasons. It's a hobby, and i don't want people that I work with have an opinion about what I'm doing especially because I work games adjesent. But also it takes to much time if you need to read up a script. (on top of my job). Becuase you will make mistakes than you need to re-do it. Comes with editting work etc. This way i can just play around with stuff and have an extra hobby without needing to put in that time.

Happy to hear you at least enjoying it, but yes i get what you are saying I do think the balance can be improved. 22 made it a lot better though, especially if you pull some thread cards, since the barricade upgrade tehre also moved to 2.

behind max there is a broken mirror. You can find the different pieces. If you get those you will unlock max

bs. steam accidentally launched the demo. i had some bugs aswell, after reinstalling i had the correct version and no issues whatsoever.

I have been playing on solo works fine for me. Especially since they increased the barricade limit.

@@GameJoyExplained okay then so what about the boss fight? yesterday i stuck it up and started kinda getting into it thinking i was maybe wrong to then have to deal with 2 rifts, with barley anywhere to put traps. So much ways for them to come but i did try, i did fail i did uninstall.

ooo definitly and i'll keep improving. This was not my best work. I did something stupid. But I'm already much better than I used to be. Yes, i get your feeling. Personally I'm having fun with this, and especially after the hotfix it did got a lot better. Im pretty sure they keep working on it, but yes so far OMD3 is the best for me.

@GameJoyExplained idk the combat maybe but Gothic stands out with its rough World and dry Humor to me. Also with the Level Design that tells you were to go by monsters that kill you imediatly 🤣 The skill system is made by trainers, not a skill tree but there are some similarities indeed. Both games are awesome and offer a very dense atmosphere and immerson. I would call it a Gothic like but its your vid. Its good that you Promote the game and keep Gothic in peoples Head❤️

You play with a control click your tumbstick it pops up a menu that shows your trap loadoit. Also a button in between missions

when you want to start a mission, there is a button bottom right, and here you can change traps

They just pushed a hotfix where they did increase the number.

The war mage you're referring to is Maximilian and the method to unlock him was mentioned on tip 9 (1:40) at the hub. You could also just look up how to unlock him on Google for a more intuitive guide. Hope this helps👍

Yes it Max! You unlock him by collecting the mirror shards you find in the maps

I know this is over half a day old now, but i figured Joy's response would be confusing. When he said Maps, he meant the HUB, the place you get all your upgrades and new traps, there are 5 hidden around the place. Behind Max, up the stairs to the Left (if facing) of max, another on the middle balcony at the Thread upgrade women, another that you need to parkour on the pillars in the testing area near Max, and the last Was on the pillars above the Rift (could be seen from the second shard location) but it was moved to idk where.

Its not that hard to have lot time in game u like,i was have around 25.000 in omdu and at least 10.000in omd2 xd

all the negative reviews are people complaining that you actually have to think instead of spamming barricades to make mazes that take orcs hours to walk through

Yes its a complicated one because a lot of it is people just wanting a different game. Which is weird because than why did they buy it at all. Regardless i do think balancing can be better. Luckily they just pushed a hotfix to increase the barricade numbers if you don't play with 4 players.

Which honestly is a weird oversight that you have same number of barricades with 4 players as you have alone
