I'm a Holden man through in throughout but this is so entertaining to watch. I miss this era of supercars. Love watching and learning the history of these exact cars.
@@josephmorgan4 It's a shame because the series was sensational back then. Our government are a disgrace for not only doing absolutely nothing to protect local manufacturing, but actively undermining it.
The detail that you are describing is fascinating Love both cars and can not wait to see both of them finished Congratulations on the achievement so far
Best thing about these cars is they are real bodied road cars, good to see firewall, chassis rails, strut towers, radiator support panel even lights guard etc are road car relevant unlike what we have now with tube frame built chassis and composite panels.
Love watching your progress with these great cars bud 👍
@@mrfrdman thanks for your support mate 👍

Yep the golden era, it's a shame to see what the series has become.

Bazza was great in the commentary, miss those days.
Me too!
Love the work mate.
Did supercars ask to put it on display at the 500?
even if it wasn't running sure people would have loved to see it.
Hi mate, no they didn't, but they did have some cool cars over there this year though.
Is ftr3 the car that one a race at Winton in 2000 ?
Hi mate, no that was FTR1 or 2. FTR3 first raced at Bathurst in 2000 to replace FTR1 that was written off in testing at Phillip Island.
Sorry but he's camera is not doing a great job why's that you can not get a clear insite clear look at both the car and the engine
I'll drive the car properly forr ya haha
