I love all things you two make. My husband and I built the table with some adjustments (we did a 6 foot table since we have a small dining room). Absolutely love it! ❤️ We plan to build your crib once i get pregnant. And i love this changing table. May make it a little longer so i can have some more storage space around the changing pad. Thank you both for making these videos and plans. I always look forward to your next projects.
I turned this little table into a small FOOD PANTRY with doors. Hence, you can modify this project to your own needs. Thank you, Shanty 2 chics and cheers from Canada, snow country.
I was at the Jr. museum with my son and the bathrooms did not have a changing table so I laid down the back to his stroller and changed him in the stroller. It was a workout but I made it work :) congratulations!
My goodness, those plans are amazing! My wife and I are expecting our first child in November, and this matches perfectly with the style of crib I am going to build! I am hopefully going to start it here in the next weeks, and build this and attach it to the side of the crib!
I just love y'all! You two have inspired so many projects in our house and my husband and I have built things we never thought we could ever do. So thankful for you! I have 5 kids...weirdest place I've ever changed a diaper??? Hmmm....probably not the weirdest, but I was changing my son in the trunk of my car and as I was getting the diaper ready, he let a very long and high stream loose and a lady was walking by and she was either impressed or mortified. It was pretty funny!
Just wanted to say I love you guys. I look forward to Wednesdays to see what new thing you make :) you have given me inspiration to make things. I love making things out of wood I mainly make signs but want to make furniture. I love using my brad nailer and my compound miter saw but scared to death of the table saw :/ i need to over come it so i don't have to wait on my husband to cut it for me lol keep the videos coming.
I wish you ladies could see my house! I recently made the kitchen rack thingy you posted a couple weeks ago and my gf loves it! she says "Oh Josh, you're so creative!" I guess I should've kept your RUclips page a secret a bit longer! Lol totally kidding. Now I just gotta throw some more tweaks into stuff I suppose haha. I sincerely thank you for all you ladies do. My family appreciates you more than they know 😉😉
Haha that is amazing! Yes you should have kept us a secret haha! Share a pic with us on email or social if you can we would love to see it! Thanks for your sweet words!
I made this, with a little twist. I added some Batman cut outs made on my CNC Machine. Turned out very unique. Love your projects. Trying to figure out what to make next.
Changed my daughter on an empty table at a restaurant. We waited 45 minutes to eat and then neither bathrooms had a changing table and the counters were super tiny. Great build.
Quick Question: On the 2x4x8's, are they 4" (actually 3 1/2" I know - could use a 2x6 to get an exact 4" i guess) wide or smaller due to you ripping the rounded edges off? Same for the 2x3x8?
i just have a question. do you ever have problems when you drive the screws into the pocket holes without clamps? sometimes i have the issue that the piece moves when i drive them in
santy santy I have this issue. my remedy is to have the piece I'm screwing through about 1/16 of an inch from the actual intended position. this way, at that last moment, when the piece secures itself, it's right on. hope this helps!!!
Awesome! am a big fan! just wondering if is there any problem using two glued pieces a 1 X 4 X 8 instead 2 X 4 X 8 and the same for the 2 X 3 X 8 since its hard to my get those :(
Eber Gardea there's no difference but the finished product will more than likely show seams somewhere... I haven't looked at the plans yet, just an assumption. hope this helps
Shanty2Chic i would try that option! thanks for the tip, is there any idea for a baby beside sleeper video in the feature??? :D i think could be an awesome project
I debated doing a bassinet, but I think I have decided against it... Not sure yet! Right now I have hit a wall, but once he's here everything may change :-)
Using 1x4 boards will make it less stable. You could always use wood glue and clamps to join two 1x4's together. That will allow you to keep the square edges. Also, keep an eye out for cheap, used tools (like table saws) on craigslist or OfferUp! It's a good way to save money on barely used equipment.
its a toss up between a fitting room at the mall in macys or on the trunk of my car at the zoo..lol gotta do what ua gotta do sometimes. thinking back now i prolly couldve changed her dipe on the back seat instead. lol is the baby a boy or girl?")
Shanty2Chic congratulations on boy number 3 I wish I could have had a boy but my wife decided to close up shop about 2 years ago . I do have two daughters assumed to be five year old and a 16 year old what a match made in heaven that is lol maybe in another life I'll be lucky to have a little JJ or AKA Joey Jr ..") wow 3 boys ur always on the go..huh? lol
hmm, that's a hard one. I had no shame when it came to changing diapers. from the back pew at church to a tent at the beach, i can't even remember them all. lol
Literally building this project rn and ur measurements are absolutely incorrect. The 2x3’s in the back plus the 2 2x4’s equates to 37”. Therefore throwing off the measurements for the top panel and 2 shelves. Nice job. 🤦🏼♂️🙄
Love the design. I have made them for my kids and their spouses with their first pregnancies. I am making my fourth one this week!
Wonderful!
Hello! Any issues or adjustments you’ve had to make?! Thanks!
That's the cleanest workshop I have ever seen.
Thank you for all the fun watching you guys build and now I have a keg jig and doing my first table with it.
Y'all are awesome! From cleaning dances and coaching at champion, to making awesome furniture. Not much y'all can't do! Love it
Thanks Carley! :-)

Thank you! LOVE that idea!!!
Making this for our first baby due in May. What angles did you use for the decorative trim? Couldn’t find it in the plans. Thanks!

Very cool! Send pics when you get them done and congrats!!!
Thank you! I certainly will!
The 2 shelf's are off on the plans. It says 33" but it ends up being short

Hahaha... Not weird to us but I bet some would be surprised! :-) LOVE that story!
This looks manageable, thanks for sharing!!!
Love it , can you tell what wood and stain did you use please
Great job ladies. Thanks for the inspiration 🔨

Looking at the plans. I don’t see the thickness for the pine project panel. What thickness should this board be?
Wow that's beautiful
Where did you get the top wicker baskets?
Thanks for this video and the plans!
Oooh I could totally use this for a cute storage area!!!
weirdest place was an airplane seat (covered of course) because the bathroom was to small lol
Smart mama!
Love it! Ya'll are cute and fabulous!
You're sweet! Thank you!!
Do you guys have any plans on how to do a diy kitchen island for a Smaller kitchen?
This is great! But the webpage for the plans seems to be broken. Any ideas? Thanks!
Brandon Beyers im sorry, not sure what happened! Here’s the live link!

Changed my daughter on an empty table at a restaurant. We waited 45 minutes to eat and then neither bathrooms had a changing table and the counters were super tiny.
Great build.
Good for you Phillip... That's crazy too! Thanks :-)
Anyway to drill pocket holes without the kreg k5 tool or a cheaper option?
can you guys do open faced cabinets? I'm gutting my kitchen and building new open faced cabinets. I'd love to see how you would do it!
That sounds fun!
I've been wanting to make a diy cradle for my unborn nephew! Have any ideas?
u guys r awesome was wondering if u could make a video on the train table
Maybe so! I'll add it to the idea list!
awesome thank u. ill be watching 4 it :)
Queen Jessica YesYesYes!!!
How can I get the sizes of individual cuts?
where can I get the baskets you used for this beautiful changing table. This is a fantastic project...
I'm having trouble finding the 2 by pine, where do you purchase your lumber?
What abt making a short 3-shelf bookshelf? I need to create one under my wide window.
Where did you find those decorative corner braces?
where are the plans for this? The link isn't opening the plans.
Hi, does some one know where In the description the plans are? Thanks
I love this! Quick question, how much did this cost about? Just a rough idea.
around $90 - 100 USD
Quick Question: On the 2x4x8's, are they 4" (actually 3 1/2" I know - could use a 2x6 to get an exact 4" i guess) wide or smaller due to you ripping the rounded edges off? Same for the 2x3x8?
Lee Clark they are a tad more narrow after ripping the edges!
i just have a question. do you ever have problems when you drive the screws into the pocket holes without clamps? sometimes i have the issue that the piece moves when i drive them in
santy santy I have this issue. my remedy is to have the piece I'm screwing through about 1/16 of an inch from the actual intended position. this way, at that last moment, when the piece secures itself, it's right on.
hope this helps!!!
Yes! We use clamps when we can and sometimes we just stand on things to keep them from moving... We get creative :-)
Kreg has a clamp designed to go into the hole and clamp.
They do! Lots, but still there are times when they can't be used one certain angles
Thank you for the great video
Will send a picture of the one I will make.
Awesome! am a big fan! just wondering if is there any problem using two glued pieces a 1 X 4 X 8 instead 2 X 4 X 8 and the same for the 2 X 3 X 8 since its hard to my get those :(
Eber Gardea there's no difference but the finished product will more than likely show seams somewhere...
I haven't looked at the plans yet, just an assumption. hope this helps
Agreed with Joshua on this one! It would show those seams without lots of sanding... Have you thought about ripping down the 2x4 to get the 2x3?
Shanty2Chic i would try that option! thanks for the tip, is there any idea for a baby beside sleeper video in the feature??? :D i think could be an awesome project
Joshua Ewald thanks for the advise, guess i would have to look harder for it
I debated doing a bassinet, but I think I have decided against it... Not sure yet! Right now I have hit a wall, but once he's here everything may change :-)
superbe vidéo les filles merci pour votre partage
I don’t see the link either. Anyone help please?
Does anyone know where to get that little pad that was on the top of the baby changing station? Was that custom made??
Here it is... I also linked in the post on our site with the plans if you need to find it again :-) rstyle.me/n/cm223exv6w
Does anyone know if I can use 1x4 boards instead of the 2x4 boards. I would prefer the square edges and don't have a table saw.

good job
Link doesn't work for plans
its a toss up between a fitting room at the mall in macys or on the trunk of my car at the zoo..lol gotta do what ua gotta do sometimes. thinking back now i prolly couldve changed her dipe on the back seat instead. lol
is the baby a boy or girl?")
hahaha! Love it... This is boy #3 for me... Evening up the team and closing up the shop!
Shanty2Chic congratulations on boy number 3 I wish I could have had a boy but my wife decided to close up shop about 2 years ago . awww love that! Girls are great too!! Maybe one day a grandson... :-)
Shanty2Chic yea if the guy is lucky and makes it through the lions den.haha!
Son daughter grandson or granddaughter either way they all get loved the same and spoiled rotten lol
Omg i love it
we do crafts like these in my tech class
hmm, that's a hard one. I had no shame when it came to changing diapers. from the back pew at church to a tent at the beach, i can't even remember them all. lol
Go girl!
Changed my baby on the bench of a winery, lol
what do you mean your using 3/4" pocket holes. I'm thinking you mean 3/8" pocket holes. it's a honest slip up. your vids are great.
rpratt812 They mean the pocket hole guide is set to 3/4” as in to be used with 1 by wood.
Wow
AMEI.......
plans from woodprix are awesome!
Good solution.
woodprix is nice for that.
Probably an empty table at a restaurant, if they dont have a changing table at all.
Sorry girls but you made it much harder than It really needed to be, Nice results though,
Literally building this project rn and ur measurements are absolutely incorrect. The 2x3’s in the back plus the 2 2x4’s equates to 37”. Therefore throwing off the measurements for the top panel and 2 shelves. Nice job. 🤦🏼♂️🙄
Glue and chaning tables dont go in hand!! This is very unhealthy for your child. Those wood sticks are also glued together... Poor baby
Gorilla glue is non-toxic...if ur gonna complain about something why not mention the stain they used? Ur not very smart are you?
So yelly
