You are doing great! I love your projects. Keep up the great work! I just want to say you can glue or not glue with pocket holes but it is recommended that you glue for a stronger bond, also when gluing end grain it is best to put a layer of glue on the end grain and let is soak in for a bit, normally I let it get a bit tacky then put more glue and put it together. That way the end grain soaks up some glue and then the second gluing allows for a better bond! Please keep up with the great ideas!

First the miter saw, then a table saw. Then a planer, followed by a drill press...and a biscuit joiner cutter. You would love that last thing. It's like building something and people thinking you performed magic. Oh yes, don't forget the glue. Super job, girl!

Great job especially since this is your first furniture pieces from scratch. You deserve so much credit. I'm happy you went back to add wood glue. Whenever joining 2 pieces of wood regardless of the butting method or technique, wood glue is crucial to add stability and longevity so even if a screw loosens, your glue will help keep the piece together. I noticed there is a small wabble to your table, that happens to even highly experienced builders however if you add adjustable caps at the bottom of the legs it will help you level the table. You can get them from Home Depot, they look like the feet of washing machines which allow you to screw the foot in or out to balance the machine. The caps also protect your hard wood from scratches. Also a good wood top coat or a wood wax would give it a beautiful finish. Can't wait to see your next furniture. There great channels here on RUclips to polish up your wood working skills and to boost your confidence. Amazing work and I know I speak for all your viewers, we are incredibly proud of you.

One tip to make sanding easier is to sand the pieces before assembly. Then once the piece is put together, you can do a final sanding just to touch up.

You REALLY need a workbench. Especially for your gluing and screwing. (Hey, I rhymed!)
If you don't have space for a workbench, you can put a non-skid pad down on your kitchen table (to prevent marring and slippage), then put a 3/4" plywood sheet on top of it.
(Since it is flat and no legs, you can store it easily when not needed)
That will get you off the floor (your back will thank you) and give you a surface that won't cause tears if you mess it up a bit.
Also, a hint on the glue up. If you are not squeezing glue out of the joint, you didn't use enough.
In the end, you have a very cute table and I am sure you will enjoy it for many years to come.
You also have the satisfaction of knowing "I built this" every time you see it.
I look forward to seeing more of your projects.
(In fact, I am off to see if I can find some now.)

Just a word of caution when I started building rustic furniture I used pocket holes to attach top to base. One time a small dining table I made for a client cracked right down the middle.l Ever since I use figure 8 fasteners, which work much better.

What struck me the most was the difference between how a woman approached this to how a man typically would.
