- We are working on a customer's awesome Eight Ball Deluxe L.E. Pinball Machine, and one of the issues was that a portion of the wiring needed to be replaced. You run into this all the time, that bus wire that is stapled to the playfield or the light baffle needs to be replaced, but how do you do it?
This is the wire you want : amzn.to/49V96We It's tinned copper, easy to solder, and used for bus wires just like this. Made in the USA!

So far so good. The neck is a really good build. This customer deserves to have a great Eight Ball Deluxe. He’s made great efforts to resurrect this game. He just needs you to push it over the line. …Public service is what this is! Thanks for posting Ronnie.
Nice work Ron , you have inspired so many people , myself included to get off our butts and fix a pinball machine ! Thanks for sharing with us !
Let's fix it!
I've been working on my Mr. & Mrs. Pacman, I can 100% say that the right panel is the same as mine.
Awesome channel! Love the history on these machines! I have A Williams Black Knight and i love it! Greetings from the UK
You make all the fixes look easy it helps that you know what you are doing😊
Pacman pinball loved playing in the heyday. It's one I look to play at Allentown pinball show or York show. It's one we never see to often these days.
This must be what it's like to get a pinball machine from Ikea.
Don't give them any ideas!
@@LyonsArcadeThey could give 1UP Arcade a run for their money. I suspect I who would win the race to the bottom of the barrel with those two.
I don’t think a white and beige pinball machine would be that much fun.😂
Thanks for all your great videos. I am working on a baby pac-man today, and dealing with getting that silly braided wiring to solder to the legs of those kind of lamps... What a pain... I may replace dome of the damaged braided wire in mine with some solid wiring in a few places, like this.
Looking great so far. Thanks!
- Not much meat on the bone.
- Is that a problem?
- Gnaw
I don’t remember this style of pinball machine growing up. I’m watching your Rapid Fire videos now. Hope I get a chance to play one someday.
Thank you for videoing this one I saw the first on and have been looking for this one.
easy fix and a verry good video.
wating for the next video.
🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪👍👍👍🇸🇪👍
I’m looking to BUY an 8 Ball Deluxe. Be on the lookout for me!!!
Great work
Nice job, keep going!
Hey Ron!!
Awesome
The trouble with fencing / utility wire is you may need to strip the coating off to solder to it, and it also is not always a pure wire and has higher resistance than proper wire braid not to mention it also tends to rust. Just something to be aware of. Usually your braided wire is a coated copper, where the utility wire is some grade of steel. Just wanted to mention that you need to be careful. Have to make sure you look for a utility wire that is coated copper.
The comment is not so much for you, as you know what to grab, but just for the general person who may not always know what to look for :)
I mentioned that in the video
Very fine deduction work on sorting that out my fine fellow... By the way you keep leaving the letter L out of solder, just a freindly reminder
You forgot to put a period at the end of that sentence. You are the worst grammar teacher I've ever had. Wow, I just noticed you didn't put a comma after "By the way", either!
Is this an ultra rare machine? If not wouldn't it be more time and cost effective to find one in better condition?
It's not as bad as it looks. We fix things around here, not just get another
@@LyonsArcade And that's why I subscribed and like each video. You all get it done. BTW I was not suggesting how you should proceed.
@@247ADT Thanks for watching, This is not our machine we are repairing it for a customer who wants This one fixed. It has a little sentimental value to him as well. I guess I should of mentioned that in the Video
It's BROKE ❤
