Discovered your channel a few months ago...and you are a delight to listen to! I haven't checked out all your videos, but I was wondering if you could cover what to do to help remove cigarette odours. We moved into my mum's rental apartment a while back and she and dad were smokers. Everything reeks of cigarettes, from the furniture to the carpets and walls. From yellowing on floors, carpets and walls (and spackled ceilings - ugh!), to furniture that has absorbed the smells. We are limited to what can be replaced, and also as it's a rental, we can't repaint. Any suggestions would be so appreciated!
We got a refurbished Roomba from eBay at a great price. 3 years later, it's still going strong! If you have pets, it does a good job keeping the level of hair down. Her name is Hazel. Other old people like me will know why!
@@hollid175 then you could always write stuff down on your own. I'm only mentioning alternatives because in America we tend to over produce a lot of things. We don't need additional books when we have a lot as is. You could always make a list on your computer and/or phone to refer back to. Plus if you have a Gmail account you can make a Google doc & have access to it at anytime
Just saw your video of getting a pan from a thrift store and cleaning it with ketchup Thought looked familiar --went to cupboard to check and sure enough we have a full set still using everyday wife said that only pans we have and been married 40 yrs HA .
I agree on the supplemental cordless vac for the robot vac. As for which one I prefer one that has seperate batteries like the Ryobi. No one wants to run out of vacuum when you need it or have to wait hours to recharge. 😁
Hahaha, love this comment. I have a Dyson and I glare at it all the time because of this! Also it's only a few years old and it already needs a new $150 battery 😒 would love Brandon to do an video on the stick vaccum he likes. I need all kind of different ones that influences use but are they just pretty or do they work? Lol
@moodyboobsjanna lol, we are not alone! The Dyson sucks, just not long enough for anything bigger than a very small apartment. And if you're doing something like space saver vacuum bags, forget it. I have the Dyson to my mom, and it is perfect for her to just get in corners and edges where the roomba won't reach in her single story three bedroom house. But the real deal killer for me is the battery. With a two story 4 bedroom house with multiple pets, the Dyson is a waste of space! I like my Ryobi so far since we have several of their power tools there's always a charged battery at the ready. I wish it came with more accessories but I think I can get the ones I want if I ever get around to it! 🙄😂
02:20 Neutral pH doesn't certainly mean that it will not leave residue behind. pH only shows pH level of cleaning agent. Most pH neutral cleaners contain SUDs, which is main cause of residue and sticky floor. Dillute as label states and all be good.
I like my shark robot vacuum. I use it daily and then use my reusable swiffer for edges a couple times per week. I have a floor washer (Bissel crosswave) and it’s pretty good.
We have had 3 eufy brand robo vacuums over about 5 years. We have had 1 on each floor and one that died after about 2 years (it knocked over a dog water bowl we hadn't secured, and it fried the circuit board). As a house with 2 big furry dogs and a small child, we absolutely love them. They don't do a great job but since it runs every day or a couple times a day, the floors are kept cleaner than they would be. A mediocre cleaning job (maybe collects 60% hair, dirt, pine needles, etc. as much as a proper floor cleaning) everyday ends up much nicer than 1 great clean once a week.
I have the same brand, I chose one that does not have any fancy features like self cleaning, etc, so it was not very expensive. I LOVE it and highly recommend.
The thought that your robot vacuum just thought 'f you you ungrateful ******' and committed suicide makes me smile. Or maybe it did the deed by accident and won a Darwin Award in robot heaven and us currently dating Eve.😂
I found you today and inspired me to clean my oven. THANK YOU. Can’t wait to do the grill, smoker, and oven grates tomorrow. What are the gloves you use to protect your hands? Where do I find them?
As long as they aren't downy feathers. Those types of pillows are impossible to clean once it's been heavily peed on. After 20minutes, a typical pillow will be dry, but after 40minutes and our down pillow was still soaked, had yellow liquid coming out of it again, I ended up having to toss it.
Would I be able to remove black mold from the walls with vinegar? See, I had my entire shower/tub area replaced with Acrylic walls and the tub is Acrylic now, but along the edge of the top of the wall, there is black mold accumulated, now growing along the bathroom walls. What could I do? Thank you for your great tips!! 😊
Loved this video! Maybe in the next one you can help me out with my stainless steel gas stovetop. It was covered with baked on stains around the burners when I got it and elbow grease and barkeeper’s friend did a great job of scuffing up the top 🤦♀️ and leaving the stains. It’s been 2 years! Please help!
Have you used a Kirby vacuum? While expensive it seems like they're relatively serviceable and built like a tank. I was super excited to get a G5 off Craigslist years ago since it was the vacuum I grew up with and all these years later -through multiple owners- it's still sucking up the dirt, and hair, and fuzz!
Enzymes are better for allergies. That is what we have found. Basically letting Biokleen sit for 30 minutes before following brandons tips will solve more severe allergy issues. You can even spray stuff with enzymes and let them sit for more like a week for really allergened stuff.
I used baking soda, dawn soap and hot water to deep clean air fryer mesh. It did clean out the residue but didn’t restore the burnt mesh to its original color. Is there anywhere to accomplish this? P.S. I’m trying to do my best to use DIY method to accomplish this.
What do you do if there is alot of mail thrown around, personal ppwrk, mixed with Food and on the kitchen counters ive asked the client if they want it put together and organized and they have pets i cant get a full kitchen clean with everything loaded on the counters and no where to put it all
Unfortunately, if you have pets, even "pet friendly" robo-vacuums are typically going to get overwhelmed and end up just dragging clumps of fur around and depositing giant furballs all over the house.
You're just such a hugely likeable guy and extremely inspirational and uplifting 🤩 I'm so happy for your succes!
Brandon can you do a series of videos about pet related stuff? Like dog hair in rugs, carpets or furniture? Pet odors, accidents etc?
Yes!😂
The DIY grout cleaner is amazing!

I got it. I used to love to watch Hazel, back in the day. I saw it recently and wow! Times have changed.
Cedar shoe trees are great for keeping your shoes/boots in good shape and smelling great.
Hi Brandon, I love all of your tips and hacks, but you really need to write a book. Btw, I love, love, love this video.😊😊😊
🤔
Why write a book when we have the internet?
@SelenaY.1331 Ha! just something can refer back, too because I don't always have access to the internet 😀

Some robot vacuums that I recommend are from Roomba, roborock, deebot, shark and eufy

Trisodium phosphate for heavy grease. Toss those stovetop filters in a bucket of water with TSP and watch it work. You're welcome lol. 😊
So cool
this was so informative! thank you for the video :D all the best to you!
Can I substitute alcohol instead of vinegar for the general cleanser
Yes! That’s my second favorite diy cleaning mix. Just be careful alcohol is a powerful solvent and flammable. 😀
thanks for the answer m8 🤘😺
Do you have any suggestions for cleaning the grease off of power tools?

You need to make a book about everything you can possibly clean
Dyson robot has the best suction. I’ve had two other robots and they don’t pick up as good as the Dyson.
A good vacuum cleaner is a. Sebo Miele with a power brush or a Dyson that would be my last choice but not a shark vacuum and try to get a bag one
