I've been using this same model for few months works great for me on linux. I'm soon going to dual boot and try MW 2.0 since its literally the only game I can't play on Linux. I'm sure someone will create a work around for it.
I just got mine installed. Do you need 2 PCIe 8 pins connectors to power this? I had 1 on my last card and tried using the 1 and it’s not powering on the GPU. Do I need to use 2 to power it? I know there’s 2 inputs but tryin to see if only 1 works.
@@7Bytez yes you do need a second. Depending on power supply you can do a split but I suggest a power supply that can handle it with two separate feeds.
@@macncheez1212 thanks yeah I took it back apart last night and plugged a 2nd into it and it worked. But I have a question. So I have 3 monitors and I have 1 running via HDMI and the other 2 via Display Cable. So I had 1 monitor plugged into the 1st display port next to hdmi and then I had another plugged into hdmi and only the monitor connected with display was working. When I plugged in the 3rd monitor via display the hdmi monitor and 3rd monitor with display turned on finally. Do you know why it did that or is it supposed to do that? I hope that makes sense lol. Either way it’s working now just odd when the monitors wouldn’t turn on only 1 at first.

Thermals are a bit high, u definitely need a good cooling solution. but i guess high temps in AMD cards is normal.
What do you mean still working?? Its the best 1440p card or a mid range 4k card

I don't have exact measurements, but on a standard ATX case it'll be an ok to tight fit

I was able to fit it into my Zalman T6 mATX case but it was a really tight fit. You'll need a lot of patience and dexterity to make it fit.

Hey what is the difference between this and the nitro version? Also are you sure this is the 6800xt because the 6800 looks the exact same
The Nitro+ has 50 MHz higher core, 50 MHz higher boost, and a beefier cooler. And yes this is a 6800XT (it says it on the label at 3:28).
