why did you buy this card you seem mad about it nobody told you to pay what you did that 6800 is a way better card than that 3060 ti the 6800 is a 1440 p beast it can keep up with a 3080 in some case but performs well above a 3070 I also own this card paired with a 3800 xt and it is cool and quiet
I love this card and still have it to this day but this is a review. I have to do some pros and cons and the cons on most GPUs right now is their prices are absurd.
@@Alan_J_T I did end up getting the nitro. Maybe I'm in the minority but I just want people to get the most of their money and I just feel like RGB should be the norm and you can turn it off if you don't like lights
@@Top3Entertainment That's good! That's really good! Always had a good experience with AMD drivers, Though I was always on the lower end of the side so this GPU is gonna be my second upgrade. Went from a HD7540D APU, KFA2 GTX 560 Ti, EVGA GTX 950 Ti and finally this. I seriously can't wait for my gpu to arrive!
And most importantly - you are not embarrassed at all. that from the increase from 1080p to 1440p, the frame rate of AMD did not decrease? On the face of the "emphasis" in the speed of the PROCESSOR !!! What kind of calculator do you have there. what can not reveal the full potential of the cards ???
You don't have to have a 650W power supply, I have one so I'm using it but a 550W would leave a lot of headroom unless you have super power hungry processor. I saw a benchmark video and the guy had 5900X and still under 450W with the 6800 OC as much as AMD allows. You aren't going to overclock a RX6800 because it's design limited because it would match a 6800XT. With my 65W processor clocked as high as it will go at stock voltage, no mechanical drive, no optical drive, no water cooling, you are looking at 400W (I just looked my build with 4 dimms is 414W but with only 2 it would be 403W). I also have an Alienware Aurora R7 i7 8700 and 1080 with mechannical drive, optical drive with a factory 430W power supply which has been running for years. Trust me, Dell doesn't use 80+ gold power supplies. At todays prices, I'd hate to see people wasting money upgrading a part that is perfectly adequate. Look at an online system power draw calculator and decide if you need to upgrade your power supply. Some calculators with jump to 650W the instant you select the 6800, because AMD said so in their marketing campaign. 4 sticks ram instead of 2 +12W. Optical drive 15W. Spinning rust drive 15W.
There are wattage spikes and so on, it's not that the wattage is bundled to deliver equally, there are these 12V rails, 8 pin rails, etc., And with 650 watts you won't get exactly 650 watts, it's always a bit less, with 80+ you can get a bit more and stable power, but like I said, there are far more factors for power supplys than you think, I think Linus and gamersnexus can explain it far better than me, at least they have videos about it
@@zBlackyz When your system is taking 150w without the graphics card and you add a graphics card that max overclocked takes 265w, how big of a spike are you expecting? Also considering that any decent power supply will run for minutes, not seconds above it's max rating. Recommending a power supply of 650w for a graphics card that maxes out at 265w is pure advertising.

That is my problem too, RX 6700 XT used to compete with RTX 3060 TI, but with the new drivers (22.11.2 and above), RX 6700 XT now is on par with RTX 3070... So we're supposed to see different results across games at least, but workload benchmarks shouldn't be so different either, as far as I know.
Hello mate, im stuck whether to get the nitro+ or pulse. I can see you have purchased both from reading comments. Can u tell me main differences? The 2 cards have a difference of £40 between them
I would recommend the nitro and here are the differences 1. Nitro has a higher factory over clock 2. Nitro has nicer aesthetic in my opinion 3.nitro has rgb
Thanks for the response mate. So to confirm the difference are pretty minor (depending on the individual). I take it the boost clock difference still result in literally 0 difference of performance?
