The reason why Fun Size was considered "too inappropriate for Nickelodeon", is because the movie was planned to be distributed by MTV Films(which is understandable enough, because MTV made original adult programming before: Beavis and Butthead, its spinoff Daria, the proposed replacement The Brothers Grunt, Celebrity Deathmatch, PFFR's Wonder Showzen, vice versa), but it was later changed to Nickelodeon handling the studio label. I remember seeing a trailer of Fun-Size in like a RUclips compilation of Teaser Trailers from Nickelodeon movies (From Harriet the Spy to the 2nd SpongeBob Movie). That’s when I first heard of Fun-Size, and I had no idea why Victorious was in a movie where a kid wears a Spider-Man costume and I think a guy wearing a Scout costume.
This movie is a guilty pleasure for me, yeah it’s not a good movie but I still do have fun watching it every occasional Halloween and this movie is also a perfect time capsule of the early 2010s which makes it more fun to watch especially if you were a zoomer growing up in that area.
Oh I for sure see this movie as a wholesome time capsule that I will forever love and cherish. I miss the early 2010s, phones existed but didn’t rule everyone’s life just yet. Good times
Love the fact that you didn’t even notice/mention that Brueder 4:49 was James Pumphrey of Donut Media and Speeed here on RUclips. Had no idea he was in this!!

This came out my freshman year of highschool and i have watched it every year since. Its definitely one of those nostalgia comfort movies for me. Also thats the kid who did that grandpa movie with knoxvile!
Yeah, I remember enjoying this movie but I was, like, 18 when it came out. It was just a goofy teen Halloween movie to me, but I agree it wasn’t meant for a younger age bracket (hence the rating). Fun casual movie though from what I remember.
That quick clip of Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging where she accidentally razors off an eyebrow is burned into my mind, i feel like Nick advertised the hell out of that one though I never saw it lmao
I’ve seen this movie a long long time ago and completely forgot what it’s called or what it is I just remember the Spider-Man kid with the arm. I can’t believe I actually found this movie again after all this time
I do remember watching this movie as like a 6 or 7 year old (by myself at my maw maws TV) I enjoyed the movie, but I was confused of why this is a Nickelodeon movie.
Oh i was ready for it, this got me into Victoria Justice’s career/I was only 8 and was catapulted into this shi, I absolutely loved it idfk, I was so obsessed with this movie :3
i was 11 when this movie came out and i convinced my parents to let me and my younger sister watch it. nick marketed the shit out of it and i told my parents that tori vega was in it so it couldn’t be that bad, which i genuinely believed. all four of us sat down and watched it after church one day and we made it like 1/3rd of the way through until my sister started asking what nair was, i didn’t get to pick out movies anymore after that…
@@witchywoman6855LMAOOO No way you did your little sister like that😂, that’s hilarious. After CHURCH??!! That’s so diabolical lmaooo, having to explain what nair is to your little sister is so wild. This is definitely one of my favorite comments

I’ve seen so many comments saying this exact thing. I have to watch this film, I may make a video on it if it’s good. I see a baby Aaron Taylor Johnson is in it and I love that guy
I didn’t know this was actually a Nickelodeon movie. I remember watching it in some random channel that WASN’T Nickelodeon, I was just scrolling through channels and I stopped at this movie when I saw Victoria on screen, I just thought “oh, Victoria Justice is in this movie, this should be interesting”, I had no idea it was an actual Nickelodeon movie since I didn’t get to see the Nickelodeon logo at the beginning or anything 😂😂
When I first saw this it was on a bootleg dvd at my cousins house and we all really liked it. It was cheesy but a fun intro into cliché young adult tropes that would be shown later on to us with Superbad or Booksmart. We all felt so cool at 17/18 watching “little kid movies” lol that had “more inappropriate stuff” since we were all super sheltered literally even kisses were taboo to witness on a screen so even if it seems lame to enjoy the movies made for teens they gave some of the sheltered kids like me and my cousins some insight into the real world
That’s such a sweet story, I agree. I really appreciate how cute and dumb this movie can be, it’s just teens wanting to have a good time lol. It’s a good watch in my opinion. It’s also free on RUclips right now
You can probably give em' points for experimenting! I saw a trailer of this once! I haven't gotten to watch this at the time. Maybe because I wasn't in that specific age group (if you know what I mean)!
That scene burned into my brain. I didn’t put it in the video but the scene of her waking up next to him and leaving the house in his clothes was so wild. A high schooler doing the walk of shame is so crazy for Nickelodeon
This film was such a classic to me, almost every year on Halloween I'd watch it just because of the nostalgia, shocked no one really talks about it nowadays, the soundtrack is also amazing. But this movie was one I place as a favorite for me (especially as a kid)
Absolutely agree, banger soundtrack, wholesome ending, Halloween theme, it’s definitely a hidden gem for me. I can’t believe that I love this film so much
I was gonna play the scene where she explains it but RUclips’s claim system is so quick to flag a video that I had to cut multiple videos out. The lines had already been recorded so I couldn’t just re-record it for a third time but yeah i should have added some type of visual that showed that lol
since when do you put nair on then get dressed and go out leaving it on??? this makes no sense that shit starts burning bad at around the 5 minute mark.
Only reason i remember this movie and saw this in theaters at all is because of my teenage self's cringey obsessive crush on Victoria Justice at the time
now that i think about it, Victoria Justice was in SO many Nick projects. They really wanted her to be their Miley Cyrus equivalent.

That’s when I first heard of Fun-Size, and I had no idea why Victorious was in a movie where a kid wears a Spider-Man costume and I think a guy wearing a Scout costume.
Yeah it’s definitely one of those movies that flew under the radar
This movie is a guilty pleasure for me, yeah it’s not a good movie but I still do have fun watching it every occasional Halloween and this movie is also a perfect time capsule of the early 2010s which makes it more fun to watch especially if you were a zoomer growing up in that area.
Oh I for sure see this movie as a wholesome time capsule that I will forever love and cherish. I miss the early 2010s, phones existed but didn’t rule everyone’s life just yet. Good times
Victoria Justice is the Woody to Ariana Grande's Buzz Lightyear.
Love the fact that you didn’t even notice/mention that Brueder 4:49 was James Pumphrey of Donut Media and Speeed here on RUclips. Had no idea he was in this!!
the song they play when they visit their dad's grave is called "start over" by abandoned pools. they performed clone high's intro theme and had multiple of their songs in the show
Yep, this is true. But they don’t actually play it in the movie, I just thought the song fit perfectly. It’s such a beautiful song lol, you have great taste
I remember renting this movie off of iTunes at 12 and being amazed
Renting off iTunes is so wild lmaoo your making me feel so old
This came out my freshman year of highschool and i have watched it every year since. Its definitely one of those nostalgia comfort movies for me. Also thats the kid who did that grandpa movie with knoxvile!
"I hear a flock of geese." (FAAAAAAAAART)
Why does this movie seem like a fever dream 😭 i forgot this movie existed
I swear most of us forgot about it as kids but appreciate it when we discover it as adults lol
Yeah, I remember enjoying this movie but I was, like, 18 when it came out. It was just a goofy teen Halloween movie to me, but I agree it wasn’t meant for a younger age bracket (hence the rating). Fun casual movie though from what I remember.
Yeah I enjoyed it a lot even though I was only 11 when I saw it. It’s a pretty fun flick that can be appreciated a lot more when your older
@@Childishju totally! :)
18 still feels too old to enjoy this kinda movie.... But I'm 27 and watch Amazing World of Gumball so I can't talk too much shit
This film feels like "Superbad 2.0"
That’s the greatest compliment this movie could ever receive
I was actually IN this movie. I plan on doing a video myself soon.
Woah no way? Contact me, id love to hear about your experience! Do you have discord or anything?
@Childishju no discord. Do you have IG, X or an email?
I saw this on hulu a while back, it was pretty wild.
Yeah it’s out there for sure
That quick clip of Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging where she accidentally razors off an eyebrow is burned into my mind, i feel like Nick advertised the hell out of that one though I never saw it lmao
I’ve seen this movie a long long time ago and completely forgot what it’s called or what it is I just remember the Spider-Man kid with the arm. I can’t believe I actually found this movie again after all this time
I’m happy that I was able to put it back on your radar, I love this weird movie lmaoo
Dude I remember watching this and being so confused. I think I was like idk 8
That’s way too young no wonder you were confused lol
I do remember watching this movie as like a 6 or 7 year old (by myself at my maw maws TV) I enjoyed the movie, but I was confused of why this is a Nickelodeon movie.
I’m glad you enjoyed it even at 6 or 7 years old, I bet that Nickelodeon logo really threw you off though
i watch it every halloween, it’s a classic idc!
It’s the perfect Halloween flick, I wish they made more
I feel like I accidentally watched this movie at one point
A lot of people commenting have said that exact thing so I wouldn’t be surprised lol
Oh i was ready for it, this got me into Victoria Justice’s career/I was only 8 and was catapulted into this shi, I absolutely loved it idfk, I was so obsessed with this movie :3
Genuinely Victoria justice deserves more. She truly does.
My friends and I used to love this movie as kids
That’s so sweet, the film is free on RUclips at the moment so maybe you and your pals could give it another watch :)
0:20 ayo wtf was that comment?🤔
I forgot I was recording. My bad
@@Childishju 🤣
Nickelodeon 😢
@@Childishjuweird flex but ok
Bro dropped a fun fact
15:48 the def jam jacket was tough tho lol
i was 11 when this movie came out and i convinced my parents to let me and my younger sister watch it. nick marketed the shit out of it and i told my parents that tori vega was in it so it couldn’t be that bad, which i genuinely believed. all four of us sat down and watched it after church one day and we made it like 1/3rd of the way through until my sister started asking what nair was, i didn’t get to pick out movies anymore after that…
@@witchywoman6855LMAOOO No way you did your little sister like that😂, that’s hilarious. After CHURCH??!! That’s so diabolical lmaooo, having to explain what nair is to your little sister is so wild. This is definitely one of my favorite comments
@@Childishju i was a victim too😭 nick’s marketing team did me so dirty
i have been WAITING for someone to make a video like this about this movie
“So she turns down Arron Riley, the hottest 30 year old in school” HELP🤣🤣🤣
Lmaooo your the first person to catch that😂😂
angus thongs and perfect snogging is a book series also but it’s 13PG as well but that movie is a TREASURE in the UK and Ireland for young teens 🤣 great video!!
I’ve seen so many comments saying this exact thing. I have to watch this film, I may make a video on it if it’s good. I see a baby Aaron Taylor Johnson is in it and I love that guy
Dude I swear the algorithm be listening too much. I watched this last week.
Dang they got your recommendations on point fam
I remember watching this every halloween whenever it came on, I kinda love it, tho it could be blinding nostalgia
Nah you’re right to love it, nostalgia is a good thing! It makes us happy:) this movie is extremely fun
The Nair plotline traumatised me
Literally threw me off guard, that scene made me so uncomfortable as a kid
@@ChildishjuAnd then you grew up into a butthole obsessed minor attracted libtard as intended?
@@DaveWasThereMan have you attempted to get the help you need?
The jaw drop moment I had when I realized I HAD seen this movie as a kid is unreal. It was all right in front of us the whole time.
Lmaoo yeah so many people have forgotten it existed. Love the pfp btw, lazlo doesn’t get enough appreciation
Haven't seen this movie but I remember when it came out and the marketing really leaned in on it being PG-13. Curious to actually watch it someday
It’s on RUclips officially for free right now
When I first saw this it was on a bootleg dvd at my cousins house and we all really liked it.
It’s also free on RUclips right now
Bro, just you showing these clips, I wish I watched this movie 😭 I was watching Nick at the time too . This had to be shown on Nick at night
The only memorable thing about this movie was its marketing. I Love It by Icona Pop ft. Charli XCX was such a good song choice for the TV spots
I was almost going to say "The Perfect Score" was PG13 but I remember that was an MTV movie. lol
Yeah there’s a lot of brand confusion between the two, apparently fun size was supposed to be released by MTV
Yeah there’s a lot of brand confusion between the two, apparently fun size was supposed to be released by MTV
I've never new they had a PG-13 movie💀
You can probably give em' points for experimenting! I saw a trailer of this once! I haven't gotten to watch this at the time. Maybe because I wasn't in that specific age group (if you know what I mean)!
I hear you lol, they definitely deserve points for trying. It was a very valid attempt at making something special. I can appreciate that
The way I was just talking about this with my aunt and how it was genuinely so shocking to me as a kid seeing the boob scene especially lol
That scene burned into my brain. I didn’t put it in the video but the scene of her waking up next to him and leaving the house in his clothes was so wild. A high schooler doing the walk of shame is so crazy for Nickelodeon
Dan wasn’t even on the set. He had NO INVOLVEMENT with this film WHATSOEVER
@@michaeljacksonerd um yeah this is 100% true, I don’t know if I said he was apart of it or not but yeah he has no involvement with this film.
You mean (gulp) Dan Schneider?!
thats great, imagine if he was.... ewww
This film was such a classic to me, almost every year on Halloween I'd watch it just because of the nostalgia, shocked no one really talks about it nowadays, the soundtrack is also amazing.
But this movie was one I place as a favorite for me (especially as a kid)
ME TOO EVERY YEAR
THE MUSIC IS SO FIRE
Absolutely agree, banger soundtrack, wholesome ending, Halloween theme, it’s definitely a hidden gem for me. I can’t believe that I love this film so much
this came out on my birthday, and I got to experience it for the first time at the ripe age of 7, ngl I loved it, still do
15:53 This went a whole different direction than I thought
I watched this with my parents & younger brothers when it came out I was 13 we all liked it it was a "family movie" for us lmao
This is the exact type of family I had, if it was funny then we didn’t care lmaoo we were gonna watch it.
I used to see this trailer on my tmnt rise of the turtles dvd
That jacket was dope, i have been looking for one for years
The RUclipsr doesn't mention who the Jacket belonged to but it was from one of the Beastie Boys. (I'm not kidding)
It is a pretty dope jacket tbh
I was gonna play the scene where she explains it but RUclips’s claim system is so quick to flag a video that I had to cut multiple videos out. The lines had already been recorded so I couldn’t just re-record it for a third time but yeah i should have added some type of visual that showed that lol
I remember being a kid and thinking it was sweet tbh
Same it is pretty sweet
since when do you put nair on then get dressed and go out leaving it on??? this makes no sense that shit starts burning bad at around the 5 minute mark.
I couldn’t include it but she’s scratching and yanking her butt while walking with a limp for the entire movie lol
Only reason i remember this movie and saw this in theaters at all is because of my teenage self's cringey obsessive crush on Victoria Justice at the time
I don’t think anyone on this planet can blame you for that lol
