    I knew OG was a cop, but when he said the marks on his hands were from license plates from work today you solidified in my brain that you are an active working cop, not just a sit under a tree and watch the grass grow kind of cop.     This slug was used in the past to deliver poison but it was a lot smaller and low velocity plus delivered by air rifle

      Eyup! They were made of platinum and the CIA, KGB, Stasi, and several other agencies used them extensively. IIRC, the CIA used them sometimes in Nam' during the Phoenix Program.

Was about creating an atmosphere of paranoia and fear. The more panicked people became, the easier it was too cause chaos in the long term. Why shoot them with a gun that would give people a distinctive give away too what happened? Get them with the ol' heart attack gun, and people start randomly dropping dead. Doesn't matter who is targeted or why, the end game is always about psychological warfare.

      @@taofledermaus they were trying to be sneaky, the KGB allegedly used a modified Umbrella to shoot a hollow pellet filled with Ricin into Georgi Markov and killed him, the pellet had 2 holes and had traces of a sugary substance on the surface that is thought melted due to bodyheat that allowed the Ricin to enter the bloodstream of its victim.

    I imagine the reason it does so much damage is because of the air inside the slug, essentially creating a small explosion as it collapses... Imagine what it would do inside of a person? Not to mention the fragmentation after hitting bone et cetera.

      @@taofledermaus I use a similar trick in small sculpts. White glue and toilet paper mixed into a sort of clayish consistency gives you something very much like hardwood that can be molded, drilled, filed, and sanded into any form. You get a little shrinkage so wanna make things a little oversized and wait for it to fully dry.

    Mississippi ballistic gel? Probably true. Mississippi has some of the biggest paper mills in the country. It has a lot of pine trees and a lot of rivers. They make a lot of TP there.

    It makes sense that these weren’t very accurate. They’re basically musket balls with hard edges and a bunch of holes. It’s difficult to stabilize a sphere. Very cool as always.

    The key thing with 90% of these experimental rounds, if aiming for the torso they're accurate enough, you'll raise some hell and make a bloody mess
