Quick tip for those who don't know, you can pull the knife back while going thru the animation of carnage. So you can start using carnage and during that windup you can pull your target and give them little time to react to the swing.
Here’s the extra thing about the zen thing. While he’s ulting and you counter with yours, he’s essentially out of the fight for a few seconds making it basically a 4V5

@@KarQ i like your prespective but i think if you want it to work you should consider doing 2 more things: 1-add 1 general tip for the hero in the video of 1 tip vs every hero tip for one of hid abiltiys or tip to how to get value out of the hero. 2- record both of the videos at the same time and uplode the other one a few days after you uploded the first one so it will still be relavent
I agree. For example, with JQ in very close brawl combat, it is better to use melee knife to get heal or shoot gun melee ? Maybe a detail but I watch a GM1 player mainly using knife in close range. Just wondering.
Amazing video! Learned quite a lot from it, especially against the tank matchups! One general tip I recently learned: if you crouch when you pull your knife target, they'll land behind you. Can be useful when you pull them into your team and you can body-block them.
In my experience as a Gold-level Queen main, Queen's high damage output can even shred through pocketed tanks if you can live long enough. Fight them much like the advice for Sigma and Hog, but be ready to run if things go south. Shout is really good as a disengagement tool, especially if you can bait an enemy around a corner and into a facefull of axe. As a general tip, punch and axe at anyone foolish enough to hide behind a barrier, but don't stay engaged if you aren't ready.
I've been maining JQ with a above 50% win rate. This was a very good video and very accurate and you can see how strong she can be. Definitely slept on hero because she requires high skill to pull off her knife throws but if you consistently land them it means you are countering quite a lot of heroes in the game.
JQ is sooo fun to play. My go-to tanks in brawly/rush maps and in JQ mirrors. Her shout just gives you as a player so much adrenaline that makes you want to go ham!!!
Honestly I think her survivability and cooldowns are fine but I think she needs a bit more damage. I know it could just be because I'm not that great but I feel like JQ does with headshots the same damage tanks like Sig, Orisa, and Hog do normally
4 more things the devs should have done with JQ. 1. Increase the hit box of blade when recall 2. Shout can be used simultaneously with knife, axe and ult (like orisa gold) 3. Increase the range of axe 4. Shout cooldown immediately starts right after the ability is activated and not after it ends. Increase the cooldown by 1 or 2 and remove the health gain for teammates. She would still be fine with these buffs because there are many ways to counter JQ like CC, long range poke and mobility Also JQ is still bad even with the axe buff. You will only hit 1 person 90% of the match with the axe and the argument about the axe being strong is the same as saying widow and hanzo are S tier and all you need to hit the head consistently which in reality won't happen and is redundant. JQ has gotten better but she still isn't strong. She is more balance right now and not bad anymore
Balanced is the goal, there are a thousand ways to make her op. 1. seems quite big already 2. That'd be nice 3. I wouldn't complain but doen't seem necessary 4. removing health from shout would reduce her ability to peel for teammates and having it on a 9s cooldown would make her very (and maybe too) hard to kill Even if you only hit one person carnage already reduces it's cooldown by 2s. Junkerqueen is mostly hindered by hog and orisa being strong and good against her, other then that? She's fine
One thing I wanna say is Lucio/Mercy is actually REALLY common at least in lower ranks. Even in masters I've seen that combo pretty frequently. When I'm not playing support I try to ask for a swap because it is PAINFUL to play with arguably the worst support duo in the game as a tank. This seems to be one of the things the general playerbase didn't pick up on sadly. Like I feel MOST people know Lucio/Zen is bad but a good amount of folks still think Lucio/Mercy is good lol.
@@squid2039 Any other comp other than lucio zen. Who should swap? It depends on what your team mates are playing but regardless it should still never be played.
@@squid2039 Depends on your comp. If your team is running a brawl style comp then the Mercy should switch (usually to a Kiriko but Moira can also work). If your team is running a poke comp then the Lucio should switch.
not sure if this is a tip but against reinheardt or really any hero’s like him is to get close and personal. yes he has a hammer but you can heal and he can’t, and when he puts up his shield try to dance through it, and melees go through shields i think, so it’s a great way to get damage in

Heres another tip always read hero details also just go in there abuse the wound healing and somehow still lose potg to someone who didn't do anything the whole match
Here's an actual tip try your best to hit people when comes back to you, this will hit enemies and give you a slight advantage with more healing and note that her Melee while she has her knoife with her can also wound
hey I'm a long time player of overwatch and I've been trying to learn to play tank in overwatch 2 I see often peoples saying "rush their back line and don't mind the tank" but 90% of the time I do that The enemy tank do the same thing and my whole team dies in seconds before I can kill more than 2 players of their team and we just get wiped. is this "rush their backline, fuck the tank" thing really a thing ? It almost never ends well for me
Against good dva they are gonna melt you with her max damage combo after you use shout Against good doom they are gonna aim everyone first then keep you for last and you can do nothing about it Against a jq they are going to swap to an orisa or hog and would have no way of winning unless you swap of someone else carry Against good orisa they are gonna use fortify when you pull them, then when you try to axe them they would stun you and when you use shout they push you back to a conner and solo ult you, when you try to use ult stun or push both works Against good rem they are going to stay far away from you and just block everything that you do Against good rein you are going to keep getting charged when you use axe Against good sig they are gonna stay away from you and eat, block everything then rock you when you axe and spam you to death Against good Winston they will play like doom and block all your healing and knife with bubble Against good zarya and hog they are the main counter against jq when jq was good for a reason Against good ball you just can’t kill him The problem of jq is there’s no point in playing her as there’s always a better option than her and she is just a weaker but more fun hog

The kiriko tip had that five man ult, but they recharged the new ult almost instantly.
Junkerqueen is about how strong a tank should be: effective but has counterplay.

Its hard to tell cause atm (unless they've fixed it) there is a glitch that lets u lower it by hitting breakable objects like mei's wall or railings
