Well, she does move in a slow arc motion. May take time to get used to it, but there's literally no reason anyone can't get the hang of the very specific motion that widow goes through during a grapple for a jump shot lol.

This character feels like garbage its insane. Especially now that both hog AND orisa are meta now. But ofc. Doom gets nerfed and hog doesn't simply cause he's getting a "rework" that's taking a month to come into the patch notes. Too long of a meta man. Seems pretty convenient that the fastest patch was to patch doom and then buff sojourn.

Doomfist's aoe part of punch hitbox is so offcentered, its actually insane. It sometimes misses targets to the bare left of you, while hitting waaaaay too far to the right side, like thru walls
isnt that just the difference between left and right hand? he punches with right
The way it works is that if you punch someone or something directly in front of you, it expands the hit box into the insanely big one that his the thing you hit as well as everything else around it.
You can just turn to face the way you want the hit box to extend to
The hitbox is just after it connects, its normal if it doesn’t hit anything

Doom fist against any tank: It’s actually a favorable matchup, just ignore them
sigma is a pretty free kill since ehe has no mobility or health regen against doom

great tips. i imagine doom catches a small rebalancing but i can see these tips remaining relevant.
Funny thing about the damage orb tip. Prior to this patch it was still possible but it was bugged because the orb delt damage from the moira for some reason. If you were facing the moira you could charge off the orb regardless of where the orb was

It's crazy how we had to wait for years for Doom to be good. After years he finally gets better and is immediately nerfed.
and wasn’t even that good, it was all in his punch (and maybe his passive), now everything is dumpstered again and that character will never see another buff again. in fact these idiots in my games still think he’s “always good”, actual wording

Dont also forget to bind some of Dooms voice lines to one of your spare keys on PC so you can frustrate them into hitting you with the "try me" voice line while your blocking as long as you thank them afterwards ofc

Been doing a thing where im playing all characters in each category in order from top left to bottom right and i was not excited for doom since i didnt know how to play him but i did do like 4 matches and the 1st was awfull, 2nd was bit better, 3rd felt good and the 4th i went 27 and 2. Starting to love using doom so this is very helpfull

Wow, doom is my favorite character and practically one trick him and it never crossed my mind to cancel the slam to punch mid air…my world just changed. Thank you!
When rising with slam, block or charge punch to carry your momentum father up.
Hold jump after releasing rocket punch to carry your momentum ever further. (Works for Rein and Brig too.)
Finally, here's a really fast and fun rollout trick I figured out: charge punch halfway, release it then quickly jump and slam while looking upwards. If you did this with the proper timing, it'll feel like you just catapulted yourself a huge distance, traveling not only 40% farther but 40% faster as well lol. It makes a crazy difference during Push especially.
Finally ZBRA is on one of these!
This is the first 1 tip for every hero video that the whole "yeah, just use this ability on every hero" is valid, since Rocket Punch is such a short CD
The vid more or less boils down to "Use your punch to cancel enemy X/Y/X ability" if we're a little hyperbolic.
