      I greatly appreciate it! Thank you. It’s been a long journey and a bunch of revisions but I’m hoping it’ll be out ripping very soon.

    Sub'd. I dig all that you've done so far. The fuel system is amazing. Are you running subframe spacers to have the hood clear the engine or did the sheet metal work solve that issue?

      Hi Mike! Thanks for the kind words, I appreciate it so much. I purchased some JSP Fab subframe spacers (jspfab.com/collections/jsp-engine-conversion-kits/products/jsp-ae86-1-75-subframe-spacer-kit) and everything cleared easily.

    Can you add the link for the bell housing adapter for the W58? Love the build man still working on mine but missing a couple bits!

    Really awesome build, great walk around. Did you guys remove the sound detoning material before you sprayed the inside? Super clean coupe! Looking forward to seeing it fire up for the first time. You would do a little video on the exhaust system and how you routed it. Very little detail information out there on that subject.

      I will definitely get this baby on a lift or Jack stands high enough so you can see the full exhaust system very soon. I removed most of the sound deadening but left a bit on the firewall, with the way the exhaust is routed I figured it may help a tiny bit lol…come to think of it I may need to add reflective tape to keep my soles from burning since the exhaust is wound right up there.

    How's the weight distribution on that thing btw? Engine is kind of heavy and could ruin the 50/50 balance. Nice build btw.

      I’m hoping to find out soon but since the 1UZ is all aluminum and the 4AGE has an iron block I’m sure the weight gain won’t be too extreme to throw off the 53/47 weight distribution. I definitely compensated by having the engine pushed back as far as possible even having to modify the firewall (6 cylinders are on/behind the subframe) and lowered the subframe to make sure I’m not driving a Japanese muscle car 🤣. A few people like @joshiroku on IG/YT have had a very good driving experience with this swap without going to my extremes. I hope to answer your question soon and thank you for the kind words!

    tell me more about the coco mats , i want to get some other mats for my cars

      Just visit their website, pick the design and they’ll send you some samples and templates that roughly fit your car. You’ll then cut out the template to be as accurate as possible if needed and then you send that back, and a couple of weeks later you get the best floor mats out there.

    Are you running a different brake booster or ae86 booster with a different master?

    • @teqdigest
      @teqdigest  2 года назад

      It’s a Tercel brake booster, slightly slimmer, not as small as the one Flos sells but it fits for now.

    This is not A Stock Engine for this Small Car👎🏾

      No sir, I couldn’t justify keeping the original 4AC in the engine bay or replacing it after the oil pump decided to fail and help my engine kick the bucket.

      It’s even better than stock, v8 + small car = shredder 🤟
