For the same reason I got my '91 CRX, the purism makes more fun than many modern performance cars.
Helps when you're over a thousand pounds lighter and the controls are still connected mechanically. '91 Si hatch owner here.

Why is it that nobody who V8 swaps their 86 ever calls it a "V8-6"?
I've been driving my car since 2008 and that is the first time ive ever heard that swap referred as that and I wish it was a thing hahaha
