My biggest connection with AC is that my father, my brother, and I all have a hand in the building of a few of the casinos. My dad and brother belong to a union and are glaziers. So they were on sight putting in windows for a lot of the casinos that were built in the last 40 years. And I worked at a shop that is used by the union to manufacture the windows and other fixtures. I installed a few of the windows for the tropicana and my shop built this giant half circle frame that is in the borgata. It was so big we almost couldn't get it out of the building
I really like videos like this because I was born and raised in NJ so we always went to AC for summer vacations. But after doing that so many times over the years you start to take it for granted so seeing people experience something like this for the first time reminds me of why I got to this point of being there over and over again for years. Wish you guys the best!
Hi in case you didn't know, The Hard Rock used to be Trump Taj Mahal and the Steel Pier used to go out a lot further than that little tiny piece of pier that they have there now.😎
It's been many years since I've been on the AC boardwalk! My husband had a house one summer (1979) along with several friends on the beach block when the casinos were first being built and we were only just dating. What a great times back then! Now we go to other NJ beaches but I will always remember that AC summer. Lover your videos! I just found you yesterday and have seen a few of them so far. You both always seem so upbeat and positive. You look like you are always having so much fun together and it gives the viewer a nice pick me up!
So glad you guys tell it like it is! Like the optimism too, but like that if you are eating something you're not sure you like, you say so! So sad the coast rained on you. It is what it is and you made the best of it.
Been to New Jersey 3 times in Atlantic city, enjoyed my time. I want to visit cape May and ocean city NJ. Amazing job to both of you for this video and facing the Storm for Us.
I’m from Jersey. Next time try Long Beach Island (LBI), Belmar or Point Pleasant. Point is my fave beach. In Jersey you have to pay to get on the beach unfortunately. Coming here is still an experience for people.
Remember the first time seeing LBI couldn’t believe a Jersey beach had dunes. Our daily beaches were Sea Bright & Manasquan. Otherwise we went out to Long Island. They had dunes 🌞
Hey guys!! Looks like New Jersey treated you like those little sour candy bears. First they’re naughty, then they’re nice lol!!! The last thing you expect at the beach during the summer is thunder, lightning and pouring down rain but you guys made the best of it and just rolled with the punches. I think the sunset on the Ferris wheel at the end was New Jersey’s way of saying “sorry for being a Karen earlier” 😂😂😂 Hope you guys are doing well and staying safe. God bless you both and safe travels😊
Hahaha... That's the best description of this trip that we've heard! Lol... But yes, we did our best to just roll with it! And the sunset definitely made up for the Karen of a day that we had! hahaha... Thanks so much for watching! Hope y'all are doing well!😊
We are definitely blessed to have each other! Aww… Thanks! Ohhh… You’re talking about Natalie lip color, not mine! 🤣🤣 JK… I’ll be sure to let her know! Thanks for watching!😊
Ooooh Atlantic City storms are pretty epic! So funny that you guys were vacationing on the beach with lightening in the background. So glad we found your channel, you guys have such a fun energy. New subs here 🙌
Hahaha... Right?! We were determined to get some beach time in regardless! Lol... Thanks for watching!😊 We're so glad that you found us as well! And thanks for the Sub!!😊
Born & raised here in NJ. Never heard an alarm to get off the beach. AC wouldn't be my first choice but understand you were in Philly so it would be the closest beach area. The Hard Rock is one of the better hotels. Cape May is nice . Beaches I would go to are Point Pleasant - family beaches with a nicer boardwalk & Island Beach State Park - more natural beaches, dunes, quiet, good facilities to change.
Just found your channel I will be watching all your videos!! I would love to see your room’s and where you stay!! I am from NJ and we have wanted out many storms on the beach. You powered through like a true NJ peep!!!
Awww love that you found us!!! We are happy you are here! 💗🎉 lol ohh ok! We will absolutely do that! For this day we actually just took the train in from Philly for the day. Next time we will be spending the day! 😂😜🎉 Would’ve been so nice to have a room to go to when it started raining! Haha I’m happy to hear that, makes us feel like a local! Lol
Beautiful virtual tour of Jersey Shore, nice and interesting to see the beautiful streets there. It looks nice and friendly! I enjoyed the tour 😊👍👍 Im watching from India
We're just gonna say congrats on hitting 10K subs now, bc by the time we finishing watching this, we're SURE you'll have hit those last 3. 🎉 Man, it's been a LONG time since I've been to AC (Stephen), but yeah - that NJ heat & humidity is no joke. The lightning behind Nat @5:53!!! And the warning siren sounds SO ominous, jeez! I'm so glad it turned around for ya... for a minute at least! We're veggie these days, but def' understand the meat-to-bread ratio situation... this bread lover's gotta say, 90% is kinda high. 😁 Another super-fun video, you two! Congrats again! ♥️
Aww... Thanks so much guys!!!😊 Yea, we're no strangers to heat and humidity being from the south, but it kicked our butts this day! Lol... Right?! It was all pretty scary sounding! But we survived! AND got some beach time in! Haha... Thanks so much for watching y'all!!😊
Lol 😂 the rain on the beach. I’ve never seen anyone kick us off the beach before! But then again I haven’t been to many beaches that have life guards/security. It’s like a beach chair revolution. 😂😂😂
Right?!? It felt very dramatic! Almost apocalyptic! Lol... We were thankful for even the small amount of beach time that we got. And yes, the sunset from the ferris wheel was beautiful! The perfect ending to a not-so perfect day! Thanks for watching!😊
When I was younger say early 80's I use to go every month. The last time was 2012 day before we left to go they got two feet of snow it was Super Bowl Weekend New England against the New York Giants unfortunately my team lost. We always try and make the best out of the hand that is dealt. Love the video as always
Wow, I bet you've seen it change a lot over the years! Haha... 2 feet of snow?! That's quite a different experience that we had! Lol... Thanks so much for watching!😊
I love this video guys!!!! Life long Jersey guy here and this summer we’re doing out first overnight getaway to AC! AC gets too much hate lol It’s like a mini Las Vegas with a nice beach and a fun classic Jersey shore boardwalk and Pier! If you’re ever back in Jersey I’d recommend visiting Wildwood! It’s a huge family resort town about an hour more South from AC. It has one of the largest seaside amusement parks in the world with 3 piers and 8 roller coasters 🎢 as well as 3 water parks 😱 as well as a beautiful beach, the nicest in Jersey imo! Glad you enjoyed your AC trip 😊
Sunset on the pier, in the wheel?! Great ending to a watery day. I think Natalie’s prayer did work tho. God gave you a little bit of extra beach time. 🙌 Thank you for taking us to Atlantic City with you. What was your favorite taffy flavor?
Right?! Definitely a wonderful ending to that day! Lol... And I think you're right! Lol... Prayers work! As always, thanks for watching! Our favorite flavors were actually the ones we tried in the video... Mine was Blueberry and Nat's was the Watermelon!
You guys have had bad luck with rain here and providence, but it’s cool how you rolled with it and still had fun. Beach area looked beautiful. Good video guys!
Right?! The rain just seems to follow us sometimes! And it's tough when we only have one day in a city! But thank you... We did our best to make the most of it! Thanks so much for watching guys!😊
Hey so next time can you go to Spring Lake Heights and it is a small town. Just to let you know there is a Spring Lake and Spring Lake Heights and they share the same zip code so just so you know that.

You’ll need to download one of the FAA approved apps (www.faa.gov/uas/getting_started/b4ufly) and check the airspace restrictions first. And always check the local drone laws as well.
@@AdventuresofMattandNat of course, I love exploring but I don’t drive or do the best with saving money lol. can we fly drone in AC?
You’ll need to download one of the FAA approved apps (www.faa.gov/uas/getting_started/b4ufly) and check the airspace restrictions first. And always check the local drone laws as well.
What time of year did you go?
Hey Diane!! Thanks for watching, we always put when we filmed in the description. I think we went in July of 2021!

@@AdventuresofMattandNat of course, I love exploring but I don’t drive or do the best with saving money lol. Also, if you have not already please go visit NYC because I’m curious and Bulgaria since I am originally from there! Also, I grew up in Indiana and saw your Indiana video which made me subscribe. M I’m sorry you didn’t have the best experience there! If you do consider revisiting please check out brown county, Indiana especially in the Fall!🧡🤎☺️😅

@@AdventuresofMattandNat thanks for responding!! lol of course, if you’re looking for jersey shore spots, Long Beach Island and Cape May are the best in Jersey. Wildwood is good too. Im from South Jersey, right over the bridge from Philadelphia and I’m telling you, South Jersey has so many gems. I’ve been watching you guys videos and I love them! Cape May would definitely be up your guys alley, try Cape May brewery!
@@AdventuresofMattandNat I go to Rowan University in South Jersey also, Glassboro is a cool little college town to explore as well.
