the Bambu Lab X1 is one of my favorite 3D printers, but there're a couple things that could be better. these are my 5 favorite upgrades that I've sone so far!

If you still have this issue with your dog biting on the door handle, you could buy anti bite, which is kind of a clear nail polish that tastes bitter. It's meant for humans who want to stop biting their nails but it helped with our dog too :)

oh interesting I’ll have to give that a shot. I tried that no chewing spray for dogs but it didn’t help lol

Just print a PASTAMATIC respooler and respool the protopasta spools onto a bambu or printable spool.

I did the side spool when I first got my X1C... until I learned about drying filament, now I use a Creality Space Pi to dry out and as a drybox for printing TPU and abrasives, DO NOT print non-PLA from a side spool. just don't.

However, all the upgrades here are “digested content” since it was pretty much showcased by every other RUclipsr since the first kickstarter/ review unit landed back in 2023
And an ifixit plug 🔌 in the end to top it all off 😅

The AMS lid riser is not air tight and comprises the seal and is not an "upgrade". Ergonomic door handle mod is not an "upgrade". The concept of changing the whole hot end assembly instead of the nozzle has been around for months and was just an excuse to hawk the tool kit. Crap video.
