My instructions said the put the bolts down. I used a milwaukee 1/2" stubby impact , might have taken 10 mins. They also work a lot better if they are just barely touching the boat.
First😂 after i replace my bunks and brackets, I'll def add a set of these. Loading my boat in wind a current absolutely sucks, and can be embarrassing.
Let us know how those bolts sticking from the top are doing when you drive your boat on the trailer, How many big gashes or punctures in the front or bottom of the boat do think you will get?
These have made trailering the boat solo a breeze, I cant say enough how happy I am with this trailer upgrade!
I would love to know if I could copy your whole build. I love how you took a jon boat and made it into a mini bass boat
Of course! All of the content I put out there is to help people do this themselves. It's a very rewarding experience but a lot of work.
Any idea what size the aluminum that the pvc slides over is

Thanks for the tip, I'll definitely adjust them inward if I run into any issues, so far they are working great.

Lmao, yes it sure can!
Try loading a pontoon boat in wind
I can only imagine!
I made my own and they do help
Yeah they were a total game changer for solo loading with a rope.
I would just cut some of the threads off.
Yeah that would have been a good idea, I would probably go that route in the future.

The bolts sit under the trailer bunks so no issues there, I've used it a bunch of times now with no problems!
